Kimpton Harper Hotel

Great location and nice historic hotel. My only issue was during my two-day stay my room was never cleaned and I have no idea why. But overall would definitely stay here again.

We loved the hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and beautiful, the dining area and bar area was exceptional. The valet staff was awesome, friendly, and fast. Complimentary drinks and water were a wonderful touch. We loved the close location to Sundance square, everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. My only suggestion would be to have signage on the lower entry level to let guests know check in is on the 24th floor. This wasn’t clear and we waited a bit on the lower level to check in. The valet pointed us in the correct direction but it wasn’t clear once you arrive at the hotel. I’m sure I overlooked this detail on my reservation.

The bartender, my apologies I do not recall his name, the evening I stayed (12-17-23) was fantastic. Bed was super comfortable!

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Great modern amenities. Valet is essentially required because of the location downtown. $45 per day will be charged to your account from the hotel for valet services, even if you have to retrieve your vehicle yourself from the garage because valet services are taking 30 minutes. Upon check out, I have 3 separate charges on my bank account from the hotel. One for $22, $162, and $280. When I called the hotel to inquire about the charges (we did not order room service, order drinks at the bar, etc.) the hotel staff was rude, and completely dismissed my concerns. Immediately, I was told the charges would be cleared on their end and returned to my bank account within 5-7 business days. What are the charges for? Why was my card charged in the first place? This is a horrible business practice. Especially if no one can explain what these “mystery” charges are for, nor apologetic in the least for the trouble of being out over $400 at their mistake. Such a bummer because this hotel was very nice.

Hotel is clean. Valet parking is nightmare. 1 1 1/2 hour wait to get car. Was told at midnight unpon arrival that they would not accommodate a full size pickup truck. Requested extra $60. To park truck and noted tires would most likely be slashed and truck broken into. No mention of any parking restrictions at booking. Had to drive back to Dallas in middle of night

Wonderful hotel with a great location to convention center. Staff was wonderful.

Beautiful room and historic feel of property. The staff were extremely accommodating and polite. Parking is a bit of a hassle, as it's either valet or self park in a garage about a block away. Overall, a great stay and would stay again
