Our experience at this hotel was a complete nightmare and marred what was otherwise an incredible trip through China. From the moment we arrived, we were met with indifference and incompetence. Despite explicitly asking for English-speaking staff, we were left to fend for ourselves with no assistance whatsoever.
The room itself was a horror show; it was disgustingly dirty, with filth and grime in every corner. Dust coated the bathroom sink, and there were even hairs in the toilet. It was utterly revolting.
But what truly made our blood boil was the hotel's complete disregard for basic services. Despite arranging for parcel deliveries beforehand, they rejected them upon arrival, causing us endless headaches. And don't even get me started on the lack of room service – having to trudge down to the lobby for a simple cup of coffee felt like a slap in the face.
To add insult to injury, the promised welcome gift was nowhere to be found. It was yet another disappointment in a string of failures at this hotel. Not only did they fail to deliver on basic cleanliness and services, but they also neglected to provide the simple gesture of a welcome gift, as promised. It was the cherry on top of an already disastrous experience, leaving us feeling completely disheartened and betrayed. This was the only bad hotel experience we had during our entire trip through China, and it stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the other five hotels we stayed at. It's a shame that such incompetence can overshadow what should have been a memorable journey.

Good location, very central, good bfst, clean, and new. Perfect stay. One problem was they did not accept my Hyatt card as they said it was booked in Trip.Com. Need more transparency

Check in time supposed to be 2pm. We could only get our room at 7pm due to lack of staff during new year. No compensation whatsoever. Disappointed

My stay at UrCove by Hyatt Foshan Downtown was generally positive. The memory foam pillows were notably comfortable and greatly contributed to a good night's sleep. However, my experience was slightly marred by noise during the night, resembling someone singing with a KTV-like facility.

I rarely write reviews, but my stay at Foshan Urcove by Hyatt was fantastic.
Qi Qi at the front desk delivered exceptional service. Initially, I booked a superior double room for RMB399 but later upgraded to an executive king-size bed with a bathtub and panoramic city view.
The hotel, opened in November 2023, is new and offers a great balance of affordability and quality. Highly recommended.
