Oh my word, such a stunning place! We had the Shiraz room in the original house, and it was so beautifully decorated and so peaceful. Complimentary Sherry each day, and i really appreciated the small detail of complimentary bath salts each day. It was so cosy and atmospheric. We were in our element. Staff were so accommodating, warm, friendly, and helpful. Wonderful breakfasts cooked fresh upon request. And very delicious wines with some of the oldest living original vines. Views of surrounding mountains and log fires lit in the evenings. It's just so beautiful and perfect. Thank you all! Will never forget our stay here.

Lovely old house, very romantic. Excellent breakfast in the garden. big room with big bed. Also very big bathroom with shower and basin. Surrounding is nature, fields and trees. Very friendly and helpful people

Amazing hotel, beautiful setting and incredible staff. The staff were so friendly. The breakfast was delicious. We are a young family with a baby and toddler and everyone was so accommodating. Location lovely and connected to rickety bridge which had great lunches and tasting and you could walk to it.

what a delightful place to stay and great location. Heidi and her team are so welcoming and run the place immaculately. nothing was too much trouble. excellent breakfast. we stayed in Pinotage with a delightful outlook across to the mountains

We had the most amazing stay at Rickety bridge. The place was lovely. Staff was so friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay at this property again. I just have one thing to add- the manager was quite rude to the staff on the morning of our check out. And they were so lovely and accommodating to us! So I wish that would change.

The setting is fantastic and beautiful. It was quiet and private. The room was really nice with heated bathroom tiled floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great as was the dinning area.eith a fire place. Overall excellent stay.

My wife and I last stayed at Rickety Bridge a good few years ago. On a return visit earlier this year, our first thought was: why has it taken so long to come back. We have since made two more visits and on each occasion cannot fault any aspect of our stay. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable and, with only three bedrooms in the Manor House, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The manageress, Tanya, is friendly, efficient, and ever helpful with making arrangements; as are all the other staff members we encountered. One last point, the wine tasting was the best we have experienced in Franschoek. We’ll be back soon.
