The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu

The triple room was small, and the bed layout was poorly designed. The two single beds faced the window, which had an top-down opening curtain. Even a slight opening in the morning would shine directly on our heads, and there were no headboards. The bathroom didn't even have a place to put a phone. Breakfast was very mediocre with limited options, neither Japanese nor Western style.

The hotel staff were friendly and spoke good English. Plus, the popsicles after a bath were absolutely delicious! The location is great, quite upscale. There's a Lawson, 7-Eleven, and a small supermarket nearby, all very convenient. When we checked out, the staff helped us call a taxi. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again. Ichiran's main branch is right next door!

Facilities: The facilities are great, there's a hot spring and a garden terrace. Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean; I saw people cleaning every day. Environment: It's basically in the middle of Tenjin and Hakata, about a 10-minute walk to either. It's very convenient, and there are many bento and late-night snack options downstairs. Service: The staff are very polite, enthusiastic, and patient when helping guests.

The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, shopping malls, and convenience stores nearby. Anpanman Children's Museum & Park is just across the street, and the original Ichiran Ramen and Don Quijote are also close by. The breakfast is abundant, and the hot springs are very comfortable.

My stay at the Garden Hotel Fukuoka Nakasu was fantastic! The location is superb, with beautiful riverside views. It's within walking distance to the Nakasu Yatai food stalls and Tenjin shopping district, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped and comfortable. The host was responsive and friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, offering a cozy river view space in lively Nakasu. Great value for money, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fukuoka. Highly recommended!

The hotel was better than expected. While the room wasn't huge, it was very clean. I really liked the design of the sink, shower, and toilet areas, as they were all separate, creating a great wet-dry separation. There's also an extra sofa bed in the room, which is comfortable enough for an adult, making it perfect for a family of three. The hotel's location is excellent – directly accessible by subway from the airport, and just a short turn off the subway exit. Don Quijote, the Anpanman Museum, and the original Ichiran Ramen are all just a few minutes' walk away. The only downside is that light leaks in from the sides of the curtains, which can be a bit disruptive for light sleepers once it gets bright. Other than that, everything was great.

This was my second stay here, and I specifically requested a higher floor this time. The main draw is still its fantastic location, with easy access to transportation and tons of great food nearby. It's just two stops to Hakata, and a single stop or a 10-15 minute walk to Tenjin. Right across from the hotel is Ishihara Beef – I missed it on my first trip to Fukuoka, but this time I made sure to eat there twice; it's excellent value for money. There's also a local Japanese coffee shop for breakfast, serving toast and coffee.
