Everiting was perfect. Beautiful and clear rooms, nice pool and excellent servis. Meals was really delicious, prepare with love. Every employee was nice, smiling and welcomed us nicely every time. Wifi worked perfectly the whole time. Not far from the hotel is a wonderful beach with a bar.

This is paradise on earth. The accommodation is very comfortable, can't fault it at all. The staff genuinely care about your enjoyment and go way above and beyond to ensure your stay is as relaxing and a home away from home. The resorts are great, but if you want the personal touch and a tourist free experience this is for you

A warm friendly family run establishment who cannot do enough for you. Large comfortable rooms with good air con and full size fridge. We were met with Sri Lankan coconuts at check in and a present from the owners son who had taken us on a wonderful trip to galle the day before. Airport pick up and drop off were also easily organised. Cannot thank the family enough for their perfect Sri Lankan hospitality

This is a really great place to spend the vacation. Clean and calm place. Unfortunately Iam really disappointed on this cunning cashier person called “Himalsha Dilanjana”. Who makes a black mark on this amazing place. He issued a bill on the day we checked in . And asked to do the payment on checkout. In the checkout he issued another bill with a different font style by adding another amount for the payment. And tried to make us comfortable by telling he didn’t issued the billed last night. I just act like we as customers lying with a fake bill. Which is really disgusting for us as customers. Please be careful when dealing with this dangerous person. Place was amazing , staff was good except this person called Himalsha who is dealing with bills . We need justice for this. This is a very kind request from who ever the great owner of this hotel ( he might be in your family , but please we as customers got really uncomfortable with such behaviors) we love the place . Please .

The best hotel in Sri Lanka we stayed in. It's situated in a very quiet, beautiful place. All the rooms are very clean and well-kept. Among other things there are closets with coat hangers, a safe for valuables, mini-bar and either a terrace or balcony. The service was perfect and every employee was very pleasant and helpful. Whenever you had a wish they would fulfill them right away. They even help when planning a trip and provide you with a guide and driver, for example a safari on the nearby river or a trip to one of the tea plantations. The traditional cuisine was magnificent and made from fresh ingredients every day. They can cook whatever you imagine on your request. When we come to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

If you are looking for a small and friendly hotel with 5* service this is the place to stay in Bentota. Nemal and his team go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious with air conditioning, t.v, kettle and a fridge. The hotel is set alongside the mangroves where you can sit and watch Nemal feed the water monitors who visit the grounds daily. This is the third time we have stayed here and we are greeted like family. Our wedding anniversary was whilst we were there this time and we were surprised with cake and our room was decorated with flowers and balloons. The food is a mixture of Sri Lankan and western but whatever you want to eat, Nemal will do his best that you have it. Thanks Nemal and all your team for a fantastic holiday and we look forward to seeing you again.

This place is in one word fantastic. A small cosy hotel on the riverbanks just next the mongroves, only two km from the beach. The family who owns this place, and their employees are very friendly. You feel at home from the fist second. Just look out of your balcony and you see all kind of birds and animals passing by, with the monitor lizards living in the backyard, next to the pool! Although not having exclusive rooms, just the better standard, this is certainly the best holiday place I experienced.

I stayed here for my first few nights in Sri Lanka before I made my way further south. It’s a lovely guesthouse with a beautiful garden overlooking the lagoon. Large monitor lizards causally stroll around which is a cool thing to see! The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is a good mix of local and western food, the staff are lovely people, and the manager Himalsha does a great job running the place. He even drove me to and from the local town on the back of his moped, and arranged taxis for me when needed. I also recommend doing the boat safari, which leaves from the garden and takes you around the mangroves. Overall a very comfortable stay, good value for money, and friendly people. A good first stop before heading further down the coast!
