Almwellness-Resort Tuffbad

We regularly go to the Tuffbad to relax. I can't stop raving. The attention to detail is obvious, the staff extremely courteous but not intrusive. Great wellness area. The best thing is that with a maximum occupancy of 124 guests, all areas offer enough space. What surprised us this time, however, is that there is no longer a regular customer bonus. Well, everything is getting more expensive everywhere - including here. Must have seen.

One of our favorite hotels that we keep coming back to. Everything is just right here! Warm and courteous employees - everyone greets you with a smile. Great wellness area with a very successful extension. In general, many extensions or renovations have taken place, which have raised the already great hotel to an even higher level. The restaurant with the different parlors is very cozy and the choice and quality of the food for breakfast and lunch as well as the menu in the evening is really excellent. Here you can simply arrive, relax and enjoy the tranquility! The hotel is run with great attention to detail. We are already looking forward to autumn :)

As soon as you arrive on the winding mountain road, you notice that you are pretty far away from everything - everyday life, stress and hectic pace. Before you arrive, you should check whether there are any closures due to construction work, etc.! That was the case for us, but it gave us a pretty nice detour through quaint little mountain villages. If you then turn towards Tuffbad, you also leave the internet and cell phone reception behind. An unusual but also incredibly relieving experience. When you enter the hotel, you are in a different world for the next few days anyway: friendliness, security thanks to lots of wood and cozy light, and delicious scents everywhere from the incense with mountain herbs. The wellness area may be a bit overwhelming at first, but you soon take it as a challenge to really try out all of the 11 saunas, steam baths and heat cabins. In the infinity pool, you swim right into the beautiful mountain panorama - an experience I had never had before. At dinner we were greeted by a cosy a**osphere, candlelight and excellent food. Our waitress Astrid made us feel like we were being invited to a friend's home with her warm manner. The food is proof that good cuisine can do without the frills of a top-rated restaurant. I can also recommend the herb hike! Despite an unexpected cold snap that had already destroyed many herbs, herbal teacher Klara planned an interesting tour around the hotel. She spiced up her knowledge of nature with funny anecdotes and kept making us laugh. Hiking tip: The 1 1/2 hour panoramic walk behind the hotel is beautiful and not too strenuous. All in all, the stay was far too short - you could easily feel at home here for two weeks!

Ich bin doch immer wieder gespannt wenn man in ein neues Hotel kommt. Aber hier werden die Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Tolles Personal, Tolles Essen, Saubere Zimmer, Toller Wellnessbereich, Produkte von heimischen Anbietern. Herz was willst du mehr ☺️

Siamo stati qui per un day spa e lunch buffet. La struttura è bellissima, immersa nelle montagne e ottima per staccare la spina e riposarsi. Il centro benessere offre vari tipi di sauna ed esperienze, una piscina interna e una esterna mozzafiato che permette di nuotare a picco con vista montagne! All'arrivo siamo stati accolti con un cocktail di benvenuto e ci è stato fornito tutto l'occorrente per la giornata (ciabatte, accappatoio e asciugamani). Giusto per chi non se lo aspetta, molte attività della spa non permettono l'uso di costume da bagno, quindi prenderne atto. Per il lunch buffet c'era una scelta di varie zuppe, la possibilità di comporre a piacimento un'insalata e una grande varietà di dolci, oltre che the,tisane e caffè. Costo a persona di ingresso e pranzo €93.

Als Kärntnerin sollte man auch das Tuffbad gesehen haben...und ich muss sagen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen...netter und ruhiger Empfang mit einem Glas Prosecco...die Zimmer sind großzügig und sehr sauber...das Badezimmer ist mit einer Dusche und einer Badewanne ausgestattet und zum Vergleich zu anderen Hotels echt groß... Das Service muss ich besonders hervorheben...sehr freundlich, lustig und es läuft das ganze Service sehr ruhig und entspannt ab...man merkt auch, dass sich die Mitarbeiter untereinander sehr gut verstehen...großes Lob an euch...! Die Speisen sind wunderbar klein und frisch zubereitet...es gibt jeden abend ein 5-Gang Menü und daher ist es wirklich toll, dass die servierten Gänge klein gehalten werden...man schmeckt auch die regionale Küche besonders heraus... Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es von mir für den Wellnessbereich...er könnte etwas moderner sein...und leider ist ein Ruheraum für mich zu weit weg von den Saunen...Aber sonst war alles super...auch die dazugebuchte *romantische Sauna * war super toll...im großen und ganzen waren wir sehr sehr zufrieden...auch zu erwähnen ist der absolut tolle Sky Infinity Pool...Topp Topp Topp...Danke an das gesamte Team für einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt...bis bald...
