We had a wonderful night at this hotel. Beautiful surroundings with magnificent views of the autumn leaves all around. It’s worth it to wait until autumn to come to this hotel. We loved the onsen and the true Japanese experience of Kaiseki afterwards. Vi was a lovely staff member that helped us with our meal on the night. Wonderful service from everyone and worth the price! Thank you for a memorable stay!!

The Hotel can be more user friendly by providing : 1, benches or chairs at the hotel entrance for guests to take-off/put-on shoes. 2, some hangers in the room to hang clothing and towels.

If you ask them, they will give you a fan, but it is practical to open the windows. It is very comfortable with the windows open, but there will be more mosquitoes at night. Although their mosquito coils have killed 90% of them, there are still a lot of mosquitoes around. Mosquito corpses are annoying even when you sleep The private hot spring in my mountain view room is very nice and clean. There is no gurgling water. There are only some green algae on the edges. They are thoughtful enough to put some skin care products for you to enjoy after soaking in the hot spring. Check from beginning to end The tatami is definitely not as comfortable as the big bed, but it's not bad. The hotel has all the facilities. The food in the restaurant is quite good, and the price is quite reasonable. There is actually not much to do in Gero City. The hotel is enough to be sunny and boring, so you can walk around it. There are many facilities and places to explore. My girlfriend and I planned to go to Shimo-Gero City and then go to the hotel first, but we didn’t get a shuttle. I really regretted it. Google Maps said it would take 20 minutes to get there, but the road was the ultimate slope, and it would be hell to go up there with two people. , a waiter heard the two of us coming in and stayed for a few seconds.

It's good, but a little expensive. Breakfast and dinner are good for the first time. You must take the shuttle bus, otherwise you can't go up the mountain with your suitcase. Although it only takes 20 minutes to walk, the hotel is on the top of the mountain.
