The hotel in ancient town near the Gate. Easy to find. View from the hotel is fascinating. The boss very friendly, helpful even he can’t speak English.

Very friendly boss. He came to the entrance to help with the admission and luggage. The hotel is within the scenic area. Our room has river view and it can be quite noisy when the tourist comes in the morning.

Decent location, distance wise around 500m away from the main gate. You get to enjoy the river next to your room. The owner is really friendly and responsive. Good thing about it being inside the attraction is you get to avoid the tourist crowd by waking up early and enjoy the serene surroundings.

I went to Zhouzhuang some time ago~I always forgot to comment. This shop is really great~It's not far from the entrance. It's relatively prosperous compared to the whole street. The shop owner is super nice~The room is also very clean~Because it faces the street and the window is facing the river bank~The night view is really beautiful. Sitting by the window and having a drink at night is really happy~I will definitely come again when I have time~

This time, I stayed in a hotel close to the bluestone road with small bridges and flowing water. Waves of tourists passed by my window. Maybe for the sake of the residents of the ancient town, the roadside businesses basically closed after 9:30. It is suitable for people like us who like to visit the ancient town in the morning when there are fewer people, but not for tourists who like to sleep in.

Inside the scenic area, next to the river, close to the double bridges, the boss is very nice and took us to the homestay; the room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, the room has air conditioning and electric heater, very good ~

I brought my kids to Zhouzhuang on weekends and lived by the river, which gave me a different experience of the ancient town. The boss' service was very good. He came to pick us up in the parking lot and sent us a video of the nearest parking lot in advance so that we could find the location accurately.

It happened to be the Year of the Dragon, so my husband and I were both born in the Year of the Dragon, so we got free tickets. My parents-in-law were also free at 70 years old.
