We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kodra and Rachelle the manager's hospitality. The hotel is steps away from everything. You are close to all the restaurants and shops and a short walk up to the amazing Gjirokaster Castle. One evening on our return after dinner there was a group of men singing traditional songs, amazing. The room was very comfortable with stunning views of the old city. Breakfast was incredible, one morning buffet and the next Rachelle just kept bringing plate after plate of food to the table of fabulous food. Thank you for the wonderful stay with you in your beautiful ancient city

We had a beautiful room (109) with stunning views and a sitting area. Staff were amazing. Restaurant very good. Perfect location for the castle and bazar area. All within walking distance. Difficult to locate with Google maps. Apparently, this entire area has tried to get google maps to fix the directions/coordinates but they have not. Thankfully a sweet elderly woman called the hotel for us and asked someone to come and show us how to get to the hotel. All in all, a fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city.

Staying at Hotel Kodra was a terrible experience. We were there for one night. We arrive at 6:00 p.m. after many difficulties to find parking. At dinner we were going to a concert and we needed to rest. It was impossible to sleep, from the kitchen and services nearby you could only hear screams and people making noise. Clattering of dishes, noise of pots and all kinds of other noises. We went back to sleep at 1:35 am. Some people were talking and discussing at the door of our room. It was as if they were inside. Despite the fact that we informed them about the concern, it was something normal for them. In the morning, at 6:30 a.m., the same story began. We paid 70 Euros for 1 night's stay and we didn't sleep more than 4-5 hours just because of the noises. The staff, except the receptionist who was friendly, all the others, bartenders, waitresses served you lazily. A very bad experience at Hotel Kodra.

Perfectly situated hotel with a stunning view. Also very handy, restaurant inside. And rooftop bar on top of it. Breakfast also perfect. Spent two nights here. Housekeeping also very good. They have large parking but hard to get there. You must have some guts to get there.

This place was amazing, I came with my three kids and they were spectacular with their service and besides everything the food was amazing! The place is great located and their view is just beautiful about the whole town. We had a great personalized service from Bella who turned out loving and playing lot with our kids!

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an incredible experience! The beauty and comfort of the place are indescribable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Before our arrival, they checked in on us to ensure we found the road to the hotel. When we encountered blocked roads due to an event nearby, the staff escorted us to another route. The front desk girl carried our luggage up the stairs and promptly to our room. On Saturday night, there was live music which made our stay even more pleasant. The views at night were simply amazing. The rooms were decorated with traditional elements intertwined with modern amenities, and they were very spacious and comfortable. As advertised, breakfast was included with our room. The morning manager and entire staff were very accommodating, kind, and struck up pleasant conversation. The bazaar was conveniently located nearby. The atmosphere made this an epic experience, and it was humbling to be able to participate in the rich culture and community. I am very grateful for this experience.

Excellent stay, very clean and nice, super friendly staff, lots of room space, magic view from hotel. Definitely we will stay again there. Highly recommended for everybody who wants to experience the best accomodation and relax in Gjirokastra.

Rooms are nice looking with great view, but that's about it. Food quality was the worst we had in Albania, especially the breakfast, very poor quality. Pity, because it can easily be a great hotel, if services were good. The fridge in the room did not work. They said they will fix it, but never did in the 3 days that we were there. Beds are not comfortable.

This hotel it's highly recommended in Gjirokastra, panoramic view, very clean, food was delicious, and the staff very helpful and friendly, the owner Ceno very kind and the receptionist girl, Rashela, was very warm and helpful! Highly recommended this wonderful Hotel
