I arrived to the venue in the night, planning to sleep there and continue my journey in the morning. Sleeping, however, seemed to be very challenging. The housekeeping staff started entering the room from 8.20 (which I can understand and is not a problem on its own). However, they did not knock and let themselves in. When I mentioned that I would check out in a few hours and requested they would come back to clean the room after my check out, they were very rude. I locked the door from the inside, to which they tried to enter multiple times between 8.20-11.40. I asked multiple times to come back later, to which they continued trying to open the door. Besides housekeeping, there was another lady rudely trying to open the door (thankfully it was locked) who then shouted to me if I spoke Russian or Turkish, which I do not. A couple of minutes later ANOTHER person tried to enter, this time including knocking. He mentioned that my name was not on the list of guests and requested my name. He also asked if there was someone else in the room with me. I found this very unprofessional, as I had checked in on my own the night before, where the receptionist wrote down my details and copied my passport. Conclusion, I had no expectations from this hotel other than getting some sleep, and apparently even that expectation was too high. Regarding the room, there was water damage and mold on the walls.
