Spot on hotel for the price. Big rooms with a comfy bed, and plenty of secure parking.

Nice hotel but terrible location. The cathedral facing seems to be the meeting place for the local drunks. The noise was terrible and the police were called on all 3 nights. Such a shames as the hotel and staff were lovely

Room was ok . Very warm day . Windows in room wound only open about 3 inch’s . No air conditioning! . Room got to hot to stay in so left after 1 hour . Ruined my evening completely. Had to return home . Would really like a refund . Overpriced for what it is .

The room is very old and the facilities are poor. The toilet and shower facilities are very old, the table is very small, and the details of hygiene need to be strengthened. Parking is ample and free.

Will definitely come again next time

A good solid down to earth average hotel with outstandingly friendly staff. Has the advantage of being right in the town centre. Walkable to the Heritage Museum and a dozen pubs

the stay was fine the staff nice the state of the place (it looks so sad ) that a nice hotel is left looking un loved and then we went and had something to eat we took our nephew there for dinner he had scampi and chips (good i had mixed grill (good) my wife had a red thai curry with chicken (what a load of rubbish) who the hell puts carrots,peas and cauliflower in a red curry i have been a chef for over 50 years and and have never seen this we complained and they took it off the bill the didnt make up for my wife not having a meal this is not the first time we have had problems with the food there but it will be our last

Very friendly welcome, everything was great except for the fact that it was very hot, so much so that I kept waking due to the heat in the room even though the radiator was off

the hotel is nice enough but it looks unloved chipped paint the dinning room carpet was filthy and they had a xmas party for twenty people it looked dreadfull

This hotel is in really bad condition and very old. The owner has made no attempt to update. The food was terrible, probably the worse breakfast ever.

This hotel is reasonably priced and clean. The room I stayed in was tired looking and carpet threadbare in places but it was very clean and I had a comfortable stay. The room was nice and cosy. Bathroom again tired but very clean. Stayed for work purposes so did not visit the restaurant but wold definitely stay again. Reception staff were great and welcoming, smooth check in

A little dated but clean comfortable and warm (it snowed during our stay) Grimsby Minster was an added bonus, lovely and peaceful in the square. Enjoyable stay.

Although some of the furniture was dated it was in very good condition. I wish i could of opened the window a fan isn't the same as fresh air. Also the room could benefit from secondary glazing you could hear their conversations, pleased i wasn't on the road side

The room was clean but very tired, threadbare carpet and stains. Furniture tired. On the positive bed was comfy, had a good range of tea/coffee facilities and reception were great
