We checked in on Christmas Day, which was quite busy, but the hotel provided reasonable service. The rooms were clean and looked new and decent. The breakfast wasn’t of the 5-star level, and most of the food tasted bland and cold. However, they did offer a tea time and happy hour buffet that was decent and enjoyable.

Front desk staff is not friendly specially at check out time. Hotel rooms are so noisy, price is really heigh according to hotel rooms.

Absolutely loved my stay here for two weeks! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the cleaners were always so chatty and polite, always cleaned my room so well everyday. I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel and also recommend to my family and friends!

- Slow check in process.
- unpleasant smell when walked inside the room which had lasted during the stay.
- the check in area has no seating which is unfriendly to seniors while waiting for family members to finish check in.
- the hotel is surrounded by huge construction sites. Wouldn’t choose that hotel if had aware of the situation.
Disappointed, not worth the money. Will not come again.

I loved this place. It's the epitome of old-timey fancy hotel that just oozes class and is extremely well kept. The room is beautiful and has character, and the outdoor grounds are very nice. The restaurants are simply amazing: Stiller is my favorite restaurant in Guangzhou, the Teppanyaki restaurant is great, and there's even a place in the lobby for a quick latte with awesome pastry selection. The location is a 2 minute walk from the red line subway.
