It was Excellent. The room was big and modern. Staff was very helpful. Location was excellent- next to lots of shopping places. Plus free clothes washing. Highly recommended

Amazing stay at the Ramada Encore! The staff is very cooperative.
We were wanting to check out late by few hours because of our flight and they gladly agreed to it.
I would definitely stay here whenever in Guangzhou!

The location is great if you like the main street. With a nearby shopping centres and a street littered with more shops and places to buy food - all you can need is outside the hotel. Transportation including buses, taxis and the metro. Though the traffic is hell and there's no clear parking area.
The problem being on the main road is that it is LOUD so it can be difficult to sleep.
I think the hotel seems allows smoking (need to check) but there was almost always the smell of cigarettes in the hallways which did leak a little into the suite. The walls also seem thin and you can hear the happenijgs of the suites next door, especially the shower and toilet.
The hotel did do an update/ refurbishment of their suites but not well. There's an unstable clothes stand to hang clothes.
Overall the room felt too cluttered, it seems like they attemptted to shove big unnecessary furniture into a relativly small room. The bed is more on the hard side. And since the building is a hub for other things so it can get busy.

There were cockroaches in the room! I killed one at the toilet and later I found another one near the TV !
There was also other small flies in the room .
