The location is great. However, the towels provided daily weren't clean, and the window was too small, leading to poor ventilation. Our child developed rashes after a few days, likely due to dirty bedsheets.

This was my first stay here, and right off the bat, the location is excellent. You come out of the Ximenkou subway station and there's a McDonald's, and a small street lined with eateries, including many famous Guangzhou old brands. Keep walking straight, and you'll find the hotel to the left of Guangxiao Temple! It's right next door to Guangxiao Temple, very close. The front desk staff were very friendly and confirmed my room type. The room itself was clean and tidy. The best thing about a windowless room is how quiet it is. If you're out exploring all day and just come back to the hotel to sleep, whether there's a window or not doesn't really matter. In fact, a windowless room offers better value for money, depending on personal preference. The room had a silent exhaust fan and a place to hang clothes. The bathroom had a convenient wet/dry separation. The independent Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and there was a small desk, perfect for eating. They also offer a free laundry room. I was very satisfied with the facilities; there were no strange odors in the room. The overall hotel environment is quite good, with 'No Smoking' signs visible throughout the common areas, which were clean and tidy. Very satisfied.

Staying here was amazing! The Ximenkou subway station is right outside, literally a 200-meter walk – I didn't even need to change my shoes. In the morning, I'd grab some soy milk from the convenience store and then head straight to Xihua Road for Chee Cheong Fun; the food street was just a 10-minute stroll away, and my taste buds were in heaven! The room was incredibly thoughtful: a separated wet and dry bathroom and mosquito screens meant I slept soundly every night. The mattress was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud, and the air conditioning was perfectly warm, so winter wasn't an issue at all. The host was incredibly helpful! They upgraded our room for free, helped us book a ride-share, stored our luggage, and even brought our dried coats back to the room, giving us a heads-up! The biggest surprise was being able to cook. Making a simple bowl of noodles and enjoying it with the sunlight streaming in from the window just filled me with happiness. The WiFi was lightning fast, and having double sets of toiletries was a thoughtful touch. Guangxiao Temple is right next door, and I thoroughly enjoyed the beef hotpot and BBQ on Xihua Road! I highly recommend trying them; they offer great value. Getting around is convenient, with a subway station very close by. It's the kind of choice that makes you feel at ease during your stay.
