Peninsula Bed & Cocktails

Loved the Peninsula Bed & Cocktails. Rooms were super clean and decorated very nice. It is my understanding that the house was originally build in 1906 as a hospital. They refurbished and remodeled is very nicely. Upon check-in, they provided a free cocktail of your choosing at their cocktail bar, which was a super nice touch. They had a breakfast room and it consisted of pastries, bagels, cereals, yogurt, self make waffle maker, fruit cups, juices, coffee. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if ever in the area. Staff was very friendly and professional. They did a great job.

The Peninsula Bed and Cocktails was a wonderful little inn and we truly enjoyed our stay. We booked the Bee's Knees room because it was the only room left available. It was a small room, but comfortable for our 2 night stay, but will look to book a larger room next time. We truly enjoyed the cute, quirky town of Gulfport and plan to return for another visit and stay at the Peninsula Bed and Cocktails inn. It is located right in the heart of historic downtown with lots of restaurants, shops, and live music. We enjoyed cocktails, breakfast and a take out dinner on the quaint porch. The quirky elevator is worth a photo op too! We really enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula and the town of Gulfport and look forward to visiting again.

Such a nice surprise. This inn has been rehabbed with funky colors while retaining the character of an old inn in many ways. The self served gated elevator is a must see, a compliment to it's former self. The breakfast area was easily accessed although small and cramped. Food selection was good a nice selection of fresh fruit, granola, breads for toasting, sweet fruit style yogurt (would have preferred plain), donuts & individually packaged bagels etc. An apartment size refrig held the cold foods. Only one Kureag coffee maker created a line of blearly eyed guests in the morning. The queen size bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Plenty of hot water for showers. All staff were pleasant and engaging. I have no complaints. Enjoyed the location, location, location.

This place is a very quaint boutique hotel. That being said, it is also a little shop of horrors. There’s nobody there. No one at the front desk. In fact, there is no front desk. They text you a code to get into the building and into your room. They tell you nothing. You have to text an anonymous number to get the Wi-Fi password. But the big thing is they hold $250 as an authentication fee. I’ve never heard of this before. I left there almost 48 hours ago, and they haven’t returned the fee yet .

Hard to find words to describe our stay. We eloped in Treasure Island and were so lucky to call the charming inn our home for weekend. The manager shared our excitement, they offered us anything we could possibly need. Seriously. We had so many odd requests and the response was always, “absolutely, what else?” As for accommodations: we stayed in espresso room. Everything was stunning!! Right across the hall from the breakfast room. In room fridge and microwave in breakfast room. Bed was so comfy, shower was hot with great pressure. This room did hear the traffic of people passing at night and in the morning. Also close to street so passing cars mag shine light, the room had blackening curtains! They provided us a steamer for my dress. Coffee available all day. So many cute spots around the property to relax and unwind. In room drinks were reasonably priced: bottle of wine was $30, beers were $7. Other options available and the soon to open restaurant will offer even more I am sure! We ended up using the inn for pictures and the results are wow! I will add them here if i can. Kayla and Jessica were amazing hosts!! We will be back many times over and highly recommend a stay here! Super walkable to many gulfport hotspots - pias is two doors down. Oh lord, if you havent been RUN THERE NOW! We could not have dreamt a better newlywed experience and have nothing but good things to say about the Peninsula Bed and Cocktail.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and plan to stay when we visit again to experience each room. The staff were very attentive, room and hotel were clean and the themes are so lovely. Elevator is a must for pics.

Great option in Gulfport- in the middle of the shops and restaurants and easy walk to the water. The inn is a historic site that offers cute rooms with popular drink decor. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. Highly recommend.

Recently remodeled, very clean. Rooms all have a theme (cute) and you have to check out the elevator!! Jessica was very helpful. Really easy contactless entry to building and room. For sure will come again.

Love this Inn, room was perfect for a solo traveler. The free breakfast was well worth partaking in! Everyday was a yummy display breakfast items, and hot foods. The proximity to all things Gulfport let me not need to drive, which was perfect for me. Just love this place and this town!
