The property has potential with good environment and hardware; but the soft aspect of guest room is not well taken care of and this affects customer experience. Likes - quiet & serene environment, good service in providing prompt internal transport Areas need more attention for improvement: - in the room the coffee & tea container is there but empty - in the bathroom there were lots of small toiletry bottles but shower gel is missing! Imagine a guest is already in shower & finds no shower gel to use..... - cloth hanger with clips was not in good order; side table is badly stained. - it may be on purpose but no tv & no phone is a no-no for customer experience. Phone to contact front desk remains the most efficient & direct means of communication & service; even in today's high tech era. - why create a dent in customer experience when breakfast is covered yet charge for coffee?

We had a great relaxing time in this hotel while visiting the red stone national park and Furong Town. They picked-us up for free at the train station in a nice SUV, arranged a fair-priced transportation back and forth to the red stone national park and also offered free drop-off and pick-up at Furong ancient town. Our butler Binbin did his best to help and was very nice. The only things that disappointed us was the management of the facilities like the bar which had no AC turned on while it was more than 30 degrees, so it was basically a sauna...we would have loved to have a drink there enjoying the view. The restaurant is unfortunately very different from the dining room picture advertised (which is only used for breakfast and is also very hot during the day). We would expect to see someone around to serve and also a menu with some snacks at least. The pool, although beautiful and with a great view, has only one bed so not even a couple can really relax side by side...and again no service or anyone around to get some drinks or so. The breakfast is served rather early and only within a span of 1,5 h, from 8 to 09:30. Apart from this the hotel is located in a calm area where you can really relax just some minutes outside Furong town.

Very aesthetic hotel, service is awesome, breakfast with a view

Location is about 10+ mins to Furong ancient town, overlooking farm houses. Very quiet and serene. It’s a beautiful accommodation with soothing deco. Love the huge glass walls with plenty of sunlight. However it falls short on maintenance - one of the rooms we stayed in could improve on cleanliness. The guest room was warm and the air-con could not cool down the temperature for the entire night and we had to sleep with 2 fans on. Not quite worth the price paid. Breakfast was good though.

Owners must try very hard to operate this BNB in this area. Great place to stay. Food is good. Staffs are super helpful and impeccable. Absolutely gorgeous view from the balcony. You should deep breathe the fresh air in the morning. Bathroom and living area floor are heated. How sweet! It cannot compare the Airbnb in Queenstown New Zealand stayed few years back but why not give it a try with limited resources they have. A must go BNB if you pass this small town. Give it a try. Something need to improve is absolutely NO Smoking in the dining area and remove the stain in the bench which guests left behind. Speed train is only 15 mins away. Highly recommended.

A very convenient stay-cation. We were staying there for one night however, there services are absolutely perfect. They were picking us up up free from the station- hotel- Furong Ancient Town. Highly recommended for those who hesitate on booking. You will get your perfect holiday here!

The hotel is very beautiful, located on a hillside. The hotel also provides round-trip transportation to Furong Town, which is very convenient and not far away. A small suggestion is: why were the dirty linens piled up in the washbasin cabinet in the room before? The hygiene needs to be improved. The service is very good!

I made an appointment with a good friend to relax together on the weekend. A classmate had stayed in Erzhuo Valley before and said the environment was very good. The two of us came directly after get off work on Friday. There was a butler to pick us up after getting off the high-speed rail. The journey to the valley was also quite short. As a Cantonese, I really like Hunan cuisine. I had 5 meals in the past two days and was amazed by several dishes. I couldn't forget them after eating them! ! I also secretly asked what chef was hired here. The first one was spare ribs, which were fried with tea leaves 😍 It was really special and delicious! ! The second one was peanut sprouts. It was the first time I ate peanut sprouts. When it was served, I thought it was lotus root tips. The crispy taste was very good. The third one was the giant salamander that must be eaten here. I had two methods, hot pot and dry pot. The hot pot one was a bit similar to the crispy Anhui fish in Guangdong, and the dry pot one was more flavorful and fragrant. The breakfast was very nutritious, and there was also giant salamander porridge in it, which was very fresh and sweet. The itinerary for Saturday was to go rafting. There is a Mengdong River rafting nearby. I heard that it is the best rafting in the world. It is quite exciting. It is also my first time rafting. It is quite fun. I was a little tired after rafting. I lay down in the room to rest on Sunday morning. I also took a photo of the light and shadow. When I opened the curtains, I could see the endless green mountains. I planned to go swimming in the afternoon. There is also a very beautiful infinity pool in the second phase, but I made a mistake and forgot to put the swimsuit in the suitcase. I will make up for it next time. Cows and horses who are used to seeing high-rise buildings really love this original ecological environment and successfully get rid of the smell of work. I am already on the way back to Guangdong. I will record the beautiful memories of this weekend for myself.

5 star treatment! I'll book it again next time. It's very close to the city and you don't have to worry about the car. The rooms and facilities are very clean and first-class, and there are also giant salamanders. It's really a good deal.

Although I don't eat it, my family members recommend it. The surrounding mountains and rivers are beautiful and dangerous, and I feel the temperament of the mysterious Xiangxi. The time arrangement for sightseeing in Furong Town, Zuolong Gorge, and Red Stone Forest is very substantial. It is worth a visit.

I took my kids to stay in Erzhuo Valley during the summer vacation. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, after dinner, the kids played in the heated swimming pool. When they were tired, they could lie on the comfortable bed and see the beautiful scenery outside through the glass. The breakfast was balanced in nutrition. Especially the mugwort cake and rice noodles were so delicious!

The room is clean and comfortable, and the environment and landscape are very good. The service attitude is very good. I booked a KTV at night. I haven't sung for more than ten years. I sang to my heart's content. The child drank two bottles of soda while no one was watching. The restaurant's hand-pulled lamb chops, lotus root and pork ribs soup, and Liu Xiaoqing rice tofu are all delicious. The concept of letting city people find their hometown and letting hometown people stay in their hometown is very good.
