Great
TTree136Great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance from most of the main sites. Thereâs also a metro station about 4 mins walk for visiting the other sites. Itâs also a 4 mins walk to the meeting points for most tours.
Hotel room - double bed was actually a double bed! :) Not two singles put together. Good amenities provided such as disposable slippers, shower gel, separate shampoo and conditioner, hand gel, body cream, face towels. Surprisingly no bathrobe was provided given the Hilton name but still a good hotel room overall.
Cleanliness - generally clean but have knocked 1 star off because a couple of the towels had other peopleâs hair on them when I arrived. However these were replaced with clean ones during room cleaning.
Staff - good level of spoken English and understanding. Most of the staff were friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room.
Overall, Iâd recommend this hotel for its convenient location.

JJoeTmStayed for 3 nights in early September 2025. The hotel is located near the old town which is very convenient for sightseeing, as most of the places are within walking distance. It is refurbished from an old bank and retains the charm of the former building including a nice lobby which was previously the banking hall. They also have a vault with a bar within. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities including a safebox. They have USB charger built in as well. Wifi was fast. The hotel also does have a swimming pool in the basement with wet and dry sauna facilities. The old town is right behind the hotel.
Staff were professional and I managed to have slightly early check in thanks to a trainee lady (I did not catch the name) who took time to helped look for available room.

DDiveNomadGreat location and upbeat vibe day and night! Good place to chill after a day of sightseeing. Rooms are comfortable with balcony views on the 7th floor. Very good breakfast with lots of fresh options and great service. Good value stay. Even better if you are a single traveller to meet people.
LLvyouzhuanjiazouguo122geguojiaThere is breakfast, a big bathtub, and a large area. I booked a deluxe room type. Opened in 1886, the building is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious, and it is located in the city center. There is also a massage service in the room, and the charge is about HK$760 for two hours, which should be considered cheap in Europe

CCeline ArgyropoulosThe stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen.
The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?).
The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!
TTigernassifI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elite World Grand Hotel, conveniently located on Basin Ekspres in Istanbul, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment of arrival, the warm and professional demeanor of the staff was notable, catering to every need and making guests feel genuinely welcomed.
The rooms are a true highlight, exhibiting a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort, with plush bedding, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of the vibrant city of Istanbul. The attention to detail was evident, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and a keen eye for aesthetic elegance.
The culinary offerings at the hotel are exceptional. Each dish I tried was a dance of flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary heritage of Turkey while also offering a variety of international cuisines to suit every palate. The dining atmosphere was equally commendable, providing a pleasant backdrop to every meal.
The hotelâs location is highly advantageous, offering easy access to a myriad of Istanbulâs attractions, shopping destinations, and dining options. Whether one is in the city for business or pleasure, the Elite World Grand Hotelâs location ensures convenience.
Furthermore, the range of facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a serene spa, added an extra layer of indulgence to the stay, allowing guests to unwind and rejuvenate effectively.
I extend my sincere compliments to the entire team at Elite World Grand Hotel, Basin Ekspres, Istanbul, for making my stay memorable. The unwavering dedication to service excellence and the superior quality of facilities make this hotel a distinguished choice for any traveler seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Turkish hospitality.

The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable.

GGuest UserVery friendly and available staff, excellent cleaning.
It is only 10 minutes walk from the Victoria Plate, where you can take any means.
We didn't eat them because breakfast (not included in the booking) was too expensive (âŹ17 per person), so we eat in the bars near the hotel.
In general, I would return to it. :)
