I can't say enough about how relaxing having my own private outdoor onsen was. The landscaping is so beautiful. I felt like I was in my own forest. Dinner and breakfast was also delicious and beautiful. Overall, it was the perfect escape.

We checked into this lovely onsen resort for relaxation and respite after our long vacation. The facility is and grounds are beautiful. The staff are kind, English speaking and attentive. We intentionally booked a beautiful room with a private onsen with the hopes of relaxing before a long 13 hour flight home . Upon arrival in the room there was a group of toddlers shrieking and screaming for the first three hours. It appears they were having more of a pool party in the onsen just next to us sit. Repeated yelling, blood curdling screams and cannonballs into their onsen. For 900.00 a night we checked in and checked right out as the intent was to rest and relax and it was very clear we would not be able to do so. The children also kept banging on the wall next to our onsen. The staff said they could not reach the family and would not be able to ask them to quiet down.

I think Price per night in the Jinya was pretty overpriced. It was not dinner or breakfast included so costumer must pay extra for the meal.

There was something disappointing about the service when I stayed, and I was asked to write a questionnaire after breakfast, so I don't know because I didn't give my name when I wrote this, but a woman who seems to be the proprietress told me about it. There was a story of excuses that don't fit. Inconsistent excuses are just lies. Once again, I would like you to think about what you would think if you were in the same situation as us, and how you should respond if you were in charge, from the customer's point of view. I would like the proprietress to learn how to smile when customers leave and when they leave. I didn't want to write a review in such a place, so I wrote it in the questionnaire, but I'm very sorry. I have a sad memory of the staff and the attitude of the proprietress who has no smiles and has no composure because the hot springs and rooms were wonderful. 流石の老舗旅館で総じて雰囲気良く、従業員の方々も丁寧な対応で好感度高い。 当日はあいにくの雨天で、雨で髪が濡れるのは嫌との妻の意向で45分3300円で予約していた貸切露天風呂はキャンセルせざるを得ず残念至極ではあったが、顧客の意向を丁寧に聴いてくれてキャンセルにもキチンと対応して貰い逆に感謝。という訳で共同大浴場を利用したがほぼ貸切状態で使えた。その男女別大浴場は少し熱めの内湯と少しるめの露天風呂と二つの浴槽があり、どちらもしっとり肌に沁みる感じが心地よい。因みにお食事コース予約で日帰り入浴は無料です。 ランチコースは1人7700円とそこそこの値段だがこれがミニマムのコース。しかしお値段相応で一品一品見た目も綺麗で味も良く量も十分で全体として至極堪能できた。食事後暫し備え付けの唐傘を差して庭園を散策し、建物内も露天風呂の場所など確認しつつ館内の調度品を鑑賞。将棋タイトル戦のお宿に因んだ歴代棋士の写真や色紙などファン垂涎の品で一杯。 今度は是非記念日に宿泊を予約しよう。

・ひとり旅OK：高級温泉旅館でも「ひとり旅OK」なのは、非常にありがたく、感謝しかない。 ・接客：スタッフの皆さんは笑顔で対応され感じがいい。また、さりげなく気を利かせてくれ、粋だと感じた。 ・アクセス：駅前で抜群。小田急本線沿線なので、新宿からも一本で行ける。 ・眺望：首都圏通勤エリアにあって、これだけの庭があるのは素晴らしい。紅葉の時期は最高。 ・調度品など：歴史を感じる重厚感のある飾り物が廊下に並べられており、眺めるだけでも楽しい。廊下にはいい香りのお香が漂っており、気分も落ち着く。 ・設備：露天風呂は離れつき。風情があってゆっくり浸かれる。 ・食事：食事はどれも美味しく、食器も素敵だった。 ・価格：もちろん安くはないが、質を考えれば充分納得だし、コスパは良いと思う。 ・予約システム：公式サイトでは予約が埋まっていたため、某外資系サイトから申し込んだ。ただ、後で聞くと、本当は予約枠は空いていたとのこと。そこだけはわかりづらい。 ・首都圏で気軽にいける高級温泉宿は稀有な存在だと思う。都内から程よい距離にあるので小旅行にはうってつけ。また来たい。
