HERTON HOTEL

I booked this hotel again just for the Zao Pao Cu (fermented vinegar hotpot) next door. The overall environment is decent, but the soundproofing in the rooms is poor. Last time, the basic room type had bad soundproofing, and even the suite I booked this time wasn't much better; I could clearly hear street noise at night. Be aware that there's only one suite of this type in the entire hotel, so if the previous guest checks out late, be prepared that you might not be able to check in even by 3 PM. If you're concerned about your travel plans being affected, I recommend booking a different room type. Overall, the value for money isn't great; the basic room type would suffice. The shops in the nearby commercial street all have good food, so you can go out and explore.

The room was cozy and comfortable. Xiao Mi provided fantastic service. The hotel is very close to Gaoxingli, just a short walk away. It's an excellent spot for photos, truly Instagrammable!

The room was clean and tidy. Service was great; water was delivered promptly upon request (I didn't manage to finish it and left it in the room, though). Upon returning from dinner, I found complimentary fruit waiting for me. They also seemed to offer two late-night snacks (I didn't try them, but they looked like Hainan specialty noodles). Breakfast the next day was also decent. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The room far exceeded my expectations. There's a free self-service laundry room and complimentary parking, offering truly superb value for money. The hotel's location is fantastic, with a small shopping mall, a cinema, and Jiangzi Grilled Fish restaurant right downstairs. Across the road, the incredibly popular and newly renovated Shilin Pub attracts many young people. This makes it incredibly convenient and enjoyable for dining, entertainment, and leisure activities. Xiao Mi provided fantastic service; she even graciously extended my check-out time to 3 PM free of charge. I will definitely choose to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended!

The hotel has a very unique design aesthetic. Downstairs, there's a Laoba Tea house (a traditional Hainanese eatery), making it incredibly convenient for meals and drinks. Location is great too – it's only about a 10-minute drive to Haikou Longhu Tianjie and the East High-Speed Railway Station. Staff member Xiao Mi provided incredibly attentive and friendly service, even offering a complimentary late check-out until 3 PM.
