The dinner and breakfast were great, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. At first, we got lost while finding the entrance, but a helpful staff member made an effort to lead us all the way to the reception area. The rooms are big and spacious but a little warmer than expected for my wife. It is just nice for me during autumn. The room we had was in a corner, and it had a great view!

Wonderful stay!  Everyone was very helpful and friendly, lots to do at hotel.  Massages were the best, highly recommend!

The experience was good. Foods are very high standard. I liked the location, especially the hotel is located at the last stop for the mini bus A. Therefore, we definitely have a seat while return to train station as the starting point of it is from our hotel. 👍

Quiet and beautiful location, approx 20mins walk from Hakone-Yumoto station. There’s a shuttle bus for 200 Yen per trip. Breakfast and dinner included. Meals were fresh and delicious. Service was good, however staff had limited English proficiency as the hotel seemed to be catered to Japanese. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Nanpuso :)

It was friendly and clean. The bathtub was attached to the room, and it was so nice in the room. I will 100% visit again with my family next time.

The old-style Japanese-style room is a bit old, but I still like this style. The hotel is a bit far from Hakone Yumoto. There is a paid car in and out of the hotel, but the frequency is not enough, which is still good.

I took advantage of the seafood upgrade plan, and was impressed with the sashimi platter that came with it, which was even better than I expected. The platter of abundant seafood was very luxurious and wonderful. The welcome drink service corner was also well-stocked, and I felt really welcomed.

A very satisfying hot spring trip. The hotel is 1.7 km from Hakone Yumoto Station. It is recommended to take a taxi (starting at 600 yan, about 1000 yan to the hotel) for a 10-minute drive. You can also take a bus from Hakone Yumoto Station (200 yan for adults, 100 for children, free for children under 4 years old). The hotel is relatively large and is on the mountain. The breakfast is a buffet, and dinner is served in the room. There is a special butler. The service is very good. It is a good choice for families with children.

Actually, this hotel was booked at short notice, but it amazed me! Let's talk about the service first. From the moment I checked in, a Japanese sister accompanied me throughout the whole process until the introduction of the facilities in the room was completed and I stepped out. I really experienced the service! Dinner was also served in the room, which was very private. Then the bed was made. Haha, this is really good! Let's focus on the hot springs. It's really big. It may also be Sunday night, so there are not many people. It's really a big bath for each person. Haha Let's talk about the facilities. The basic ones are all there, hot springs, massages, vending machines, ice cream vending machines, milk vending machines (this really satisfies me) Then there is food. Dinner can be full, but the level is slightly higher. The ingredients are not bad and fresh! But if you have to compare it with Michelin, that's hard to say. The scenery, I have always liked Hakone not only because of the hot springs, but also the scenery. In winter, it is surrounded by white fog, and at this time it is red and green. And I like this one more because there is no noisy voice! In short, it is very good!
