The location is fantastic for rural NZ scenery. The hosts are also very welcoming and super efficient. All up, our stay was very pleasant. The walk around the large garden allows one to experience old world NZ. Thanks, Frans for suggesting the scenic drive we enjoyed after checking out.

Very friendly owners. The breakfast that was served was awesome good. Fantastic views from the property. Great to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. See picture below.

Loverly home & garden. Breakfast was very good, homemade muesli yogurt fruit. Or toast with salmon or the normal spreads. Very comfortable beds.

Beautiful, historical B & B (1895) that has been modernized very nicely with outstanding views and gardens. Excellent, friendly hosts, nice rooms and facilities, great breakfast and lots of interesting history. Highly recommended.

I liked the age and history of the old homestead. Would have liked a TV in my room and not to have to share with the owners.
