Perfect location and hotel, the only two issues: 1) the personnel do not speak English; 2) the breakfast is served in another hotel.

The hotel location is pretty convenient; just by the West Lake and within walking distance from many places of interest. It’s also cozy as it feels more like a private small property than a hotel in standard terms (it only has few rooms and the staff will close service after 10-11 pm).
However there were 2 big downsides to my stay at this hotel. First, even though cleanness level was somewhat acceptable, one might encounter some unpleasant surprises ( like a cockroach in closet :D ). The second downside was the breakfast location, it was at a different hotel named Da Hua some 500 meters away, and it didn’t have much international options (if you are ok with the morning walk you might actually enjoy this or end up having your morning coffee at a nearby Starbucks midway).

（黃郛樓）座落在柳廊聞鶯處，面朝秀麗的西子湖畔，其主人是大名鼎鼎前國民政府總理，且行使“總統”職權。今天作為高端住宿面向大眾，別墅外觀低調，不留意就錯眼而過，當推門而入眼前一亮，奢華有內涵裝飾佈滿每一處旮旯：客廳擺放着做工考究明式傢俱和西洋沙發，長長的彩繪玻璃用作採光的天頂，陽光透過漂亮的玻璃斑駁陸離，柚木裝點的牆體，彎曲盤旋的木質樓梯，包裹結實的門框和沉重的門扉，，，時時讓人感受到曾經發生過的故事，如果我們對中國歷史感興趣，靜下心來能用理性眼光和感性的思維去觸摸體會歷史人物生活起居和人情世故，是別有一番滋味。那沉甸甸的厚重歷史，這有居住在裏面才能真正翻開每一頁，細細閲讀品味曾經影響中國的一段歷史。再説軟件上服務和整潔都是一流的，床品柔軟舒適，服務周到細心，讓人無可挑剔，就像擁有一套自己的別墅。入住別墅還能享受免費乘坐遊船蕩漾美麗的西湖，還為喜歡拍照的美人們照一套相。這是我住過最最滿意的別墅，無論是享受還是情感上都滿足人的品味。非常值得一住！還要特別表揚這裏的服務生，熱情周到的照顧讓人感受到親切賓至如歸的温暖，特意去詢問了他們的名字：陳瑋、劉星江、 王煜鑫……，在此也以表感謝！

酒店位置真的很好，就在南山路上，穿過院子一分鐘就能到達西湖邊，停車也方便。早餐可以在樓裏吃的，品種很豐富；前台服務人員態度也很好，非常愉快的一次入住。 下次還會再來的。

房間實際和圖片裏的一模一樣，很有歷史感。安安靜靜，適合拍照發呆。房費裏包含了遊船票和旅拍，很適合帶美女出遊的朋友。
