Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake Reviews

We loved our stay at the Canopy by Hilton in Hangzhou. We arrived at 15.30 but needed to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready. The room is fantastic, really stylish and clean. All staff in the hotel were very helpful and attentive, especially the cleaning team. We really enjoyed the free cocktail available in the bar in the evening, this was a great touch! The staff were accommodating about leaving our car in the car park until 8pm. The only fault in the whole experience was breakfast.y wife and I both ordered from the A La carte menu and my wife ordered noodles and I ordered eggs. My wife’s noodles arrived in 5 minutes and my eggs took nearly 40 minutes. Naturally we were frustrated and the staff explained this was because they were waiting for other egg orders to be able to cook together in a batch. This is not how breakfast service works because I wanted to enjoy breakfast together with my wife and to get out and enjoy Hangzhou as soon as possible. This is especially frustrating when the restaurant was not busy as we arrived early at 7am.

Great hotel, modern decoration outside ! Nice terrasse for a lunch or dinner. We loved the live singer at the lobby restaurant.

Great hotel nearby the West Lake in a very quite tree-line road. They have a very nice outdoor bar where you can enjoy breakfast or have a drink but unfortunately it was full of mosquito during my staying so I had to enjoy my coffee inside.

Spacious room and clean, not too far from metro station. Quiet neighbourhood. Love the ambience, and cosy from the winter weather outside. Would recommend to my friends!

Very clean, modern and well maintained hotel. The included breakfast was a mix of a la carte and buffet (both included). Would stay here again for sure.

Amazing stay! The staff helped us to book some activities so our stay was perfect! The bar serves great cocktails, and breakfast was superb!

Nice hip hotel with fun rooms and lots of sun power points. Room service menu is small and delivery of food not well planned but overall a fun hotel!

Really dislike the service around timing. Called to confirm check in at 3pm. When I arrive the room isn’t ready. And told it will be another 30 mints. Again not ready. I had to delay my meeting 2 times…

WOW. just WOW. I do not know if there is a reason to stay anywhere else anymore while in Hangzhou. This hotel was about as perfect of an experience as I have ever had in my two years in China. It seems like the engineer and the artist worked in harmony to create modern amd creative experience of style and comfort. The bed had the perfect type sheets and I slept like a baby. Automatic curtains... a floor that is so clean I walked barefoot. A TV with a 150 old and new movies in english with no loaidng times... the remote worked INSTANTLY. A bidet with side mount so you dont turn around... no chinese needed the icons made sense and all buttons worked. Modern shower with rain head. Doors of bathroom wall slide to allow me still a view of the tv and outside while I brush my teeth.. but close obviously for privacy. Everything is new, chic, snappy, and worked well visually and practically. The pictures here do not do my room justice. The only imperfection was that the services show a shoe polish bit when I asked it was unavailable. Their restaurant, Nettare, was also quite good! I will stay here everynight I stay in Hangzhou. Perfection.
