The rooms are nice, the tourist attractions are beautiful, the food is delicious and there's a lot of it. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious.

The location is very remote, in a deep alley, and the transportation is very inconvenient. If you calculate the transportation fee and room fee together, you can book a better hotel!
The bed sheets were not changed. Although the decoration of the room was okay, the hygiene was really not that good!

Very clean, nicely decorated rooms. Hot showers, air conditioning, fridge and kettle in room. What more could you ask for. Bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. Peaceful and quiet area. Owner is lovely and helpful. Would definitely come back.

The so called hotel did match up to the description. The whole building was in a very poor state. The staff was kind at first but constantly on our case for us to book transportation, tours and in general sell stuff. When we didn’t the owners got more and more unpleasant and in the end, since we didn’t prolong our stay, trying to make us leave before checkout time. C/o was 12, already at 10 they started sending messages that it was time to checkout, then knocking at the door to take our bags down, in the end coming through our door uninvited with cleaning gear while we we’re still in the room and before 11. Then starting accusing us to have taken drinks from the minibar we haden’t touched. Very uncomfortable and insulting.
I can not enough stress how I do NOT recommend anyone to stay there.

This place is downright odd. Jimmy the host is overbearing and seems to magically appear in front of you whenever you move around the hotel. He is insistent on upselling you tours and micromanaging what you do everyday. It got to the point where we actively tried to hide away from him. The swimming pool is in a small, dark room and I doubt anybody has ever used it. Breakfast was fine but not traditional Vietnamese food- always scrambled eggs and toast with some bananas. It takes about an hour to walk into central Hanoi. You would be better to book in the old quarter. Jimmy tried to make me write this review whilst he sat next to me on the couch in the lobby looking over my shoulder. There is a fridge and AC in the rooms, you have to pay for drinking water. The venue is extremely dated.

Hotel was ok. Special place .quiet. The fsmily took good care. Good information. Ha long bay was special. Everybody happy with the tour . We also visited the war musum in Hanoi. I followed the war as young man. Hope vietnam can have peace. Inge Thorsen, Norway

The owners are really helpful and sweet They will help you without even asking telling you what is the best place to eat,or to drink the famous egg coffee If you choose this hotel be sure to have the option with breakfast included because it is really delicious and a lot of variety
