Eco Farmer House - Sapa Retreat

I'm traveling in northern Vietnam on a motorbike, and I spent 3 days in Sapa, 2 days in downtown Sapa, and the last day at Eco Farmer House. The facilities were clean, and the owner was kind. The surrounding scenery was truly legendary. In particular, there was a swimming pool, so I was able to take a quick swim before eating, which was great. The chicken porridge I ordered for dinner was also delicious. After eating breakfast and unpacking, I said goodbye, and they gave me 3 bottles of water to drink while riding my motorbike. This was my favorite accommodation during this trip. If I get another chance, I'd like to come back.

I made a reservation with breakfast included, but they said there was no breakfast, and I shivered all night because it was so cold. This is the worst accommodation. They didn't even give me a refund and didn't even apologize.

We booked two double rooms, both with breakfast included The breakfast on the first day didn’t feel like breakfast. We asked for bread and noodle soup options for breakfast, and we each ordered two bowls of noodles and two portions of bread. The result was hot water with instant noodles, white bread, eggs, and four cups of sweet milk soaked in milk powder. I think 500 yuan/night is pretty good. The next day, the boss said that it would be very noisy when he received 61 group guests. He helped us move to a four-person room in a single-family cabin, but he had to pay 500,000 VND (approximately NT$640). We would definitely have a limited budget when booking a room for 500 yuan a night. Consolidating two rooms into one and paying him 640 was really beyond the budget, so we said it doesn’t matter! We don't need to change. If you are in a group for convenience, we can check out. At this time the landlady came out and said, it’s okay! No need to make up for it, just let me give you 5 stars! I said we didn't want to take advantage, it didn't matter that we could check out! She insisted that it was okay and there was no need to make up for it!  I want to say that if this is the case, then we don’t need to accompany us for breakfast the next day! We didn't have breakfast the next day, and the cabin was for three people. There were four of us, so we thought about it and didn't mention it to the boss. When we were about to check out on the third day, the boss took the bill and charged me 420,000 VND (538 yuan) for breakfast on the first day + water in the room. This is a total money grab! On the first day, I felt that he was very strange and kept asking us how many nights we had booked, and even kept our passports. When I wanted to change rooms the next day, I also knew that the room must be oversold, but we wanted to say that we could just check out! I didn’t want to embarrass him, so I collected the money the next day and told me that the order did not include breakfast. When I showed him the order, he didn’t recognize that the order included breakfast. He immediately turned against me and called us poor. Finally, I was told that we got 300,000 VND. Really bad, don’t recommend! The floor in the room was actually very dirty, and the bathroom was also very unclean. We didn't mention it because we thought that was the price. However, the floor in the cabin was actually even dirtier and the quilt smelled musty. It’s hard for four people to sleep in a triple room, and they were charged extra money.
