Excellent apartments and very well run. Staff were very helpful and very supportive. Close to restaurants and shops supermarket just across the road for any self catering. Need to be mobile as it is on a hill there are lots of steps

Wow, we loved it here! From the moment our suitcases were collected and delivered to our room, to the last day when they were taken up to the collection point for us. Jet2 have found a diamond here. The rooms are spotlessly clean; Angela was our cleaner and did a fabulous job and was really friendly. We got an upgrade to a one bedroom apartment, but the studios were well equipped. The only thing you would need to ask for is a view of the sea, which is possible if you ask and is available. Alex and the reception staff always had good advice on anything we needed, including taxis and bus timetables etc. Thank you Alex :) In fact they provided good advice via email before we visited, so thank you for that too. The pool area again is spotlessly clean and towels are provided for around the pool. The bar has a vast range of drinks and the food is great. Breakfast and lunch menus are good and the food is fantastic. Eva, Antzi and Violeta provided us with professional and friendly service, couldn't have done better than they did. Thank you to the chefs, the food was delicious! If you pay for half board then you will get a 4 course meal at the Oliva restaurant and spoilt for choice on food, with a wonderful view right down to the sea. Ivana, Lefteris and Kallia provided the best service, thank you! I will definitely be staying here again. Jet2 made our holiday perfect, couldn't have asked for more and I have been on many holidays. A* for all concerned and I think this is the best review I have ever posted. Thank you and well done Jet2 and Asterias Village :)

Just returned home from a fantastic very hot holiday booked a superior room they did not disappoint it was really nice …room 4 over looking the pool it was excellent would highly recommend to book this accommodation… breakfast was good… drinks and food from pool bar were good…all staff were friendly/attentive…surrounding villages were fab with good bars/restaurants etc…overall had a very very good time at the resort and will return in the future.

The staff are lovely and friendly, they can’t do enough for you, in all areas of the hotel. We paid a lot of money for 2 weeks here and the room we stayed in certainly wasn’t a 4* room, it was very dated, small bathroom, with not a very nice shower and shower curtain. Cleaners came in to the room every day, but not sure they actually cleaned anything, the floor was filthy for the whole 2 weeks, the balcony wasn’t cleaned properly, they did change the sheets and towels every other day. The pool was slimy on the bottom and on the walk way in, numerous people slipped walking into the pool. If you want a sun bed, you need to be up at 7am to actually get one, not great when you are on holiday. The steps into the hotel are certainly not advertised when booking, very steep and lots of them. The hotel is however in walking distance to lots of bars and shops, both left and right out of the hotel. There is also a great shuttle service 3 times a day down to Hersonisos, free of charge.

We checked into here after being terribly disappointed with our first accommodation. Staff here are some of the best! The breakfast is also great. The pool large and near 3 loveky old town villages at top of hill from hersonnisos (so we did use some taxis to get to sea as hill was hard in this heat coming back up!) I think the hotel do a free transfer though. We stayed in one of the 2 story apartments which was really big and great air con. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We paid for a 4 star and I would say this is 3.5 stars. We had a lovely time, but feel we were miss sold the accommodation, we thought we were getting a maisonette which consisted of two separate rooms. We have a teenager who needs her own space as we need ours. However we didn’t get two rooms, we got a studio with a mezzanine floor meaning we was all in the same room. The shower room is functional but tiny and I hated the shower curtain which touch you when you are wet. Ppl reserve the sun beds so be prepared to get up at 7.45 or you won’t get one. They do have signs up asking ppl to not to reserve but no one follows this rule. The breakfast is very nice, the place is very clean and the staff are lovely. There is no pillow menu either you get two pillows on your bed, the beds are comfortable and I suffer with my back but was fine in the bed it wasn’t my like a board which you get in the 3 star. We had to live out of our suitcases as the room was small for three ppl and there was only a single wardrobe. The aircon didn’t work for one night, I think it’s too small a unit for space as it did help but wasn’t great.

Asturias is set on the hill down from the Piskopiano/Koutouloufari road - access is by a lot of steps down to the reception, pool and bar. Alternative access is by a steep hill along the road, and this means the majority of rooms have stairs. This is fine for younger customers but can be hard work for elderly, disabilities and wheelchair users. Some rooms, more Studios, are small and dated, so upgraded to a bedroom apartment with sea view nearer the top area, with a good shower instead of the tiny corner ones with a clinging curtain (I had a studio for checkout day) Pool area had plenty of loungers though this was during October- during school holidays I can envision it being very crowded. Although the bar had a nice selection of snacks, drinks and cocktails, these weren’t cheap. Very friendly and helpful reception staff made it a quiet and relaxing two week stay.

We go here twice a year,absolutely love this place,it's like our second home,always spotlessly clean,great food,fantastic staff that I now consider as friends, nothing is to much trouble,my favourite place ❤️
