The facility was clean and quiet. It is in a nice neighborhood within close driving distance to all of the Hilo attractions. The desk person had helpful suggestions for local restaurants and activities. My wife and I stayed for a weekend, and recommend Arnott's. It's a great pace for under $200 per night.

Be careful! be careful.
I booked a room of 36 square meters, and I was given a room of 8 square meters. After showing the area on the reservation confirmation, the lady said that there are no other rooms available, and that according to the hotel agreement, no refund can be made if she wants to check out.
The facilities are typical motel. It can be described as crude.

It was in a nice neighborhood surrounded by green, lush gardens. The beach was very close.

The staff was amazing. Mahana was so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more. She is amazing. Michael was also very sweet and helpful. The property is set up so inviting and cozy with lots of community areas.

An amazing sitting area to have my coffee and listen to the birds wake up and the waves crashing. It doesn't have an ocean view but it's about 500 feet from an ocean view. The location to two awesome beach parks can't be beat! It's only a few minutes walk to either of them, one in each direction. Plus other parks are within a few minutes drive. About 10 minutes to airport, Walmart, farmer's market, pretty much anything downtown. There was lots of information (books, pamphelets, magazines) provided about local attractions. The host was very friendly and I had a very relaxing stay. I've already recommened this place to family who are looking to visit Hilo soon.

The location was perfect as we enjoyed the access to ocean. Facilities are obviously run down and dated a bit and could use some updating however they met our expectation and price level. The common TV and living area could use cleaner and more comfortable furniture but was very nice to relax and enjoy Netflix. I would recommend this property and also book again.

Good security. No restaurants or stores in walking distance. Shared common area w kitchen. Could use tea and extra coffee. Definitely good stay.

My stay was quick and amazing! Everything was professional, courteous and clean. Close to town, shopping, food, etc. Would definitley stay here again.
