Hotel Hokke Club Hiroshima

I stayed here for one night because it was included in the breakfast and was within my budget for a business trip. I was attracted by the high reviews of the large public bath and the breakfast buffet. The location is a little away from the main street, in a quiet area, so it felt a little far, but once you get used to it, it's over in no time. The room felt like a training camp room, the lighting was fluorescent, compact and not stylish. The bathtub of the unit bath was not clean, probably because most people use the large public bath, so it is not a big deal. The amenities are also minimal. When I went to the large public bath, I tried to put on my loungewear, but the bottom button of my long, thin robe had come off. I passed a man in the elevator, and both of us felt awkward, so if you are concerned about this, it might be better to bring your own clothes or loungewear. The large public bath is small, but I was happy that there was a shampoo bar. It would be even better if there were a few more amenities. The breakfast, which is a highlight, was delicious as the reviews said, and there was a wide variety, so I was satisfied. I was able to enjoy Hiroshima specialties, and the fried oysters were also delicious. I drank too much the night before, so I regret not eating more... This time, I didn't have high expectations for the room, and my goal was to stay within my budget and enjoy breakfast, so I think I should have thought about the overall picture.
