Vyluk Hotel (Hohhot Xinhua Plaza)

Conveniently located. 5 mins walk to mrt station and a row of good restaurant just outside mrt station. Great city view. I love the the city and people here. Will be back. Downside, my room smells like cigarette smoke. I’m sure if I request to change the room, they would but I was too tired too. Service staffs are very warm and friendly.

Good location and generally helpful staff. I had a good stay.

Cleanliness and comfort

The main reason I chose this hotel was that the description said it had a swimming pool, a sports hall, and even a running track. But when I arrived, none of those facilities were there—really disappointing. If I’d booked a different hotel, at least I would have had access to a pool. It was honestly very discouraging to be misled by the listing. They used photos of things that aren’t even at the hotel. For example, what is the Chinggis Khaan statue—located far away—doing in your hotel’s introduction? It has nothing to do with the actual place. Using such unrelated images to attract guests is really disappointing. I don’t understand why they list amenities that don’t actually exist—maybe just to attract guests? I don’t know.
