Hong Kong Hostel Reviews

I stayed in private rooms at two different hostels in the area and this one was definitely the best. I asked for a room with either two beds or a desk and ended up with a room with two beds and a desk — and windows with a pretty nice city view, too. The two beds in the room were different, one spring and one foam, but both were comfortable, which was a nice change after a very uncomfortable bed at the last place I stayed. Room was surprisingly large and a good deal for the price. Location is very close to subways, buses, as well as Victoria Park and a supermarket. A shower curtain would have been nice, but otherwise bathroom was good and bigger than expected.

Overall good hostel. The only thing to consider is that it is not that social as many of the beds are occupied by people living there full-time.

The room is excellent, everything you need is there except maybe laundry but at this price it is as expected. Service was great as well, thanks to Dan for helping out.

The place is basically only a dorm within a regular building. This is very common in Hongkong. It was still a very social place with a couch and kitchen area within the dorm room. I really enjoyed my stay

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Amy is very friendly giving you information what to do in Hong Kong. The hostel is super clean and very good. The cleaning lady is doing great job maintaining the place. I loved my space capsule with all the lights. You can do laundry for free that is a big bonus.

Great location, friendly owner, clean comfortable dorms. Love staying here. For travellers that have been here before the reception is no longer in Patterson Street.

Reception works until 23:00, I arrived late and nearly missed the working hours). There are several hostels in this group, they gave me a room in Fuji hostel in next building. It was basic but it had everything i need, I was satisfied. The room was situated in the corner and had 3 big windows (which is quite unusual for HK), the look was surprisingly good. But after midnight the nearest supermarket started to load the goods with a lot of noise, it was very long, i couldn't sleep till 2 at night. Still I liked this place and would stay here again. Location is very convenient, subway and trams just nearby.

Great check-in and instructions provided by Dan, made us feel welcomed from the start. The room we booked was in another building, but he kindly walked us there and on the way showed us where to get groceries, public transport, etc. The room itself was bigger than expected, clean and the A/C worked very well. It was quiet and convenient. We had access to a microwave and a frigdge, but sadly had to buy cutlery and plates/bowls as this was not provided. Would definitely stay here again as the location is great and the room offered good value for money.

Location - One of the best in my opinion. The building is located in the heart of Causeway Bay near many malls, shops, eateries, a metro station, banks, supermarkets, you name it. The bus to/from the airport (#A11) is also around the corner, which is convenient. Lastly, the building, although in the heart of the area, is on a side street, so it's quieter (at least in my room it was). The room - It was basic, but cleaned every day, somewhat spacious, had windows that let in natural light, and the wifi and hot water worked well. Their description lists that towels aren't provided in the room, so you may or may not receive one during check-in - just keep that in mind. In my room, the air conditioner was right over the bed and it was loud. Thankfully, it was cold when I visited so I didn't need it on, but this is something to be aware of. Privacy - Although this is supposed to be a hostel, it felt more like an "aparthotel" where each room is like a private studio. I liked this because it was very private. Compared to other places in the area, I thought this was great value and I would stay here again.

It was a nice place considering the cost. The wifi was just AWFUL. So no need to get a desk as you will not be able to use it. The check in time is very limited.

I enjoyed staying at this hostel, the owner was very friendly and very kind If I go to Hong Kong again, I will definitely stay here again, the rooms are clean and comfortable

Location is literally hard to find and place like a horror building

Great and pleasant stay right in the heart of Hong Kong! The hostel is situated in Causeway Bay surrounded by many shopping malls and high end bars and restaurants. As for the environment, the beds have curtains, a personal lamp and plug sockets. Additionally, there are lockers which require a padlock to store valuables. Overall, the hostel was very quiet at night time and the bed was more than comfortable for a hostel. The cleaning lady was exceptionally friendly and helpful and changed the sheets every day. To conclude, this hostel is great value and is located in a safe, central area.

The room is very nice and clean. Nearby in shopping areas and transportation. very affordable also.
