As a frequent guest of Home Inn hotels, I assumed this location, advertised as opening in 2024, would be a safe bet. I couldn't have been more wrong – I was incredibly disappointed! The room was tiny, the overall condition was dreadful, and it was frankly quite dirty. It felt more like a hotel that opened in 2014, not just recently. Basic amenities like combs and slippers weren't in the room, and when I called to have them sent up, I was told to come down to the front desk to get them myself. It was too late to change hotels that night, so I had no choice but to stay. My advice: book with caution, and don't just rely on the Home Inn brand or the '2024 opening' claim. It's truly shocking to find such a substandard room in a major city like Shanghai, often called the 'Magic City'!

While I originally considered this hotel just for layovers, my last stay convinced me it's fantastic for regular trips too. Though it's in the suburbs, transport links are incredibly convenient, and you'll find plenty of markets, local eateries, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. Even early morning flights aren't easily heard, which is a huge plus. The front desk staff provide wonderful service. Highly recommended.

The room was impeccably clean; every nook and cranny was spotless, without a single speck of dust. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring even a light sleeper like myself had a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom had a consistent hot water supply, and the complimentary toiletries were of high quality.

The room was clean and had no unpleasant odors. I booked a standard room, and the amenities were exactly as pictured. A great bonus is the hotel's washing machine, allowing guests to conveniently wash and dry their clothes—a thoughtful feature for travelers. I'd personally recommend this hotel, especially if you're planning a visit to the zoo. The only minor downside is its closeness to Hongqiao Airport, meaning you can hear planes taking off and landing. However, this didn't disturb my sleep. Additionally, there are plenty of dining options and small supermarkets nearby, making the location very convenient for daily needs.

The hotel is very close to the airport, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. I overslept and missed the scheduled shuttle. Without hesitation, Mr. Lu arranged an extra shuttle just for me and drove me to Terminal 2. I'm so grateful I made my flight! A huge thank you to Mr. Lu!

This place offers excellent value for money and is very affordable. It was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning kept the room wonderfully cool, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Plus, they provide a complimentary private transfer to the airport.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Honestly, you'd be crazy to book a room here. The only good thing was the friendly young lady at the front desk. I'm completely speechless; just look at the pictures – they speak for themselves. The cheapest room is tiny and incredibly dingy – absolutely do NOT book that one. The double room was 'alright' but still dirty, and what's worse, there was blood on the pillow.

The room was decent, although the duvet felt a bit damp and they didn't provide a multi-charging cable. Other than that, everything was fine. It's very close to Shanghai Hongqiao Station, and the price was quite reasonable. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

Stepping out of the elevator onto my floor, I was immediately assaulted by the pervasive, musty smell of damp carpets. As soon as I opened my room door, the first thing I noticed was an unfinished, patchy, grey-white ceiling. I was genuinely taken aback, wondering how a room in this condition could possibly be rented out. Is a franchise like this really allowed to tarnish the Homeinns Group's brand reputation? To my further dismay, I then discovered an already-opened bottle of mineral water on the table. I was utterly speechless with shock. This is by far the worst Homeinns stay I've ever had. I sincerely hope my feedback will prompt the operations department to take this seriously and upgrade both the facilities and service quality to meet the standards expected of a franchised hotel brand.

The only positive was its proximity to the airport. Cleanliness was mediocre, and service was subpar. The room next door was constantly noisy due to a key card mix-up, and the soundproofing was also very poor.

Great location and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. They even extended our check-out by two hours for free! The room was spotless. Definitely coming back next time, highly recommend!

The room was excellent, and we even received a complimentary room upgrade. We chose this hotel for a quick stopover in Shanghai as we had an early morning flight. The airport shuttle was incredibly punctual. Overall, it was a great choice – very convenient and efficient.

I chose this hotel primarily for the Hwayi brand, its affordable price, and its convenient proximity to the airport. However, the front desk service was quite unwelcoming. What truly disappointed me was the airport shuttle service. During check-in, I asked about the shuttle schedule, and a male staff member at the front desk simply told me to 'look for myself'. I checked the sign on the counter, which indicated the departure time was 6 AM. So, I came down to check out at 5:50 AM, only to find the shuttle already packed. When I inquired, I was told there was no space for me. The shuttle staff then rudely questioned why I hadn't come down earlier, in a very unpleasant tone! It was as if my arriving earlier would have magically created more space! They clearly failed to assess passenger numbers and make proper arrangements, yet they blamed the customer. I've never encountered such appalling service before!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the airport. Unlike many other hotels that claim to be 'airport terminal' properties but are actually several kilometers away, this one is genuinely the closest. True to the Home Inn brand, the hotel features consistently crisp white bedding and towels. All expected amenities are provided, such as a hairdryer, slippers, bottled water, and paper cups. (Note: Disposable toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower gel may need to be brought by guests.) WiFi and a TV were available in the room. The family room was our favorite, perfectly accommodating our family of three.
