Regal Hongkong Hotel

I stayed for three nights. On the first day, my flight was delayed by 4 hours, and I arrived at 4 AM. The front desk staff was on duty and processed my check-in quickly. The room had a direct drinking water tap, which was a nice touch. The room was also relatively spacious, and the windowsill had a soft padded cushion where you could sit or lie down. The bedding was a down comforter. Controls for lighting, air conditioning, and curtains were all push-button style, located on the bedside table, which was convenient. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Causeway Bay MTR Station Exit F1, very close to SOGO, and there are many dining options nearby. The hotel's Regal Palace restaurant is also outstanding.

The location is excellent, right in Causeway Bay, with Exit E being the most convenient. There are many great dim sum restaurants nearby. The room itself is quite spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated. You can catch the tram (ding ding) right downstairs, and a half-hour ride to Kennedy Town offers a unique local experience.

The hotel is really, really old. I stayed in a premium suite this time, and the toilet was broken, the showerhead was broken, and there was a strange noise coming from the bathroom all night long. The air conditioning switch was also very hard to turn on. Do not stay in family suite 803; many of its facilities are broken! It's even worse than a 7 Days Inn in mainland China! The only upside is the good location!

The space was decent and the location convenient, but the biggest problem was the questionable hygiene. This was the first time I've encountered such an issue on a trip. Several of my friends who were with me were bitten by bed bugs, and the itching was unbearable. The hotel offered a free upgrade for our next stay, but honestly, who would want to come back to a hotel like this?
