Empire Hotel Hong Kong - Causeway Bay

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was warm and welcoming. There are many shops around, making shopping very convenient. It's not far from the subway station, so getting around is easy, and there are also plenty of places to eat nearby. Very good.

The location next to Victoria Park is pretty good, and the hotel itself is decent overall. I heard the owner is from mainland China, and some facilities are quite new, so it was probably opened in 2018. The rooms are a bit small. When I was checking out, I wanted to extend my stay, but the staff said I had to check out if I left. Breakfast was okay, even though the variety wasn't huge, it was still fine.

The room was very clean and well-equipped. They even provided a universal adapter, which was a thoughtful touch. Disposable toothbrushes and slippers were also available, making it convenient for short business trips. The 1.5-meter bed was very comfortable, though a bit soft. My husband and I had to sleep towards the edges to avoid sliding into the middle. 😄 For Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, this price for this size room is truly a great deal!

There was a slight hiccup with the room arrangement. Check-in was at 2 PM, and they initially gave me connecting rooms. I preferred two separate rooms, so I had to wait an extra hour. The tall, handsome staff member who checked me in this morning apologized and immediately coordinated a new arrangement, suggesting I go enjoy afternoon tea while I waited. The room has a view of the harbor. Another male staff member also provided excellent service. The location is fantastic, exactly as other reviews mentioned – very convenient for the Ding Ding tram, MTR, and airport bus.

This was my best experience yet entering the port. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was bountiful with a wide variety of options, and the facilities were excellent and spotless. They even gave us complimentary wine and snacks, and although my child and I couldn't drink the wine, it was a really thoughtful gesture. We truly felt the hotel's sincerity and genuine service.

I personally think it's pretty good, offering great value for money. The hotel's breakfast and afternoon tea were decent, and they even provided bottled water. It's very close to both the subway and the airport shuttle, plus there are a few trendy spots nearby, and shopping is really convenient.
