Novotel Citygate Hong Kong Reviews

Sadly our room was full of black mold, arrived at night so couldnt see it in dim light but next day I could see it all over the bathroom walls, i wiped with face cloth and it was disgusting, it was on ceiling, walls and the art work. The room may of had a leak but is also old and needs updating, cupboards dont shut, carpet is old and filthy. We were excited to stay here for our very last night before heafing back to NZ but very disappointed. We were not offered a discount. Breakfast was good lots of variety. Pool looked nice too but did not swim and also was shut in middle of day.

On 6 May evening, during our quick checkin, the customer service staff, Ricky was very nice, helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded and Ricky managed to add one bed for my daughter efficiently. The room was very comfortable and luxury. We feel good atmosphere for us from long distance travelers from London. We definitely will come back to stay in this hotel in future.

The hotel is nice, easy accesible to citygatr outlet. Furniture is old. No different since my stayed before covid. Maybe time to update the room furniture. Room cleaner and front desk are helpful. conciege is friendly, took shuttle bus to airport. The bus is avaipable every 20minutes. Overall experience is awesome.

Room was considered spacious in Hong Kong. There was a connecting bridge to Citygate shopping mall which was packed with restaurants, outlets and a cinema.

From shuttle service, housekeeper, room, frontdesk, amenities, toiletries and all the services provided from our check in to check out is PERFECT. I love novotel!!! If we visit hong kong again i will surely book for this hotel again. I love its location.

Very nice location if you are only going for a stopover in HK. Just right next to the outlet mall and 5-10 mins drive to airport and disneyland.

Nice hotel next to shopping mall, good view, have baby beds) but internet was very slow, have to wait for voice messages in apps

Love the strategic location as it’s connected to the citygate outlets. Very convenient with the airport shuttle service as well. Room is spacious and clean even though abit dated. The welcome amenity is a nice touch.

PLUS: Location was good as it is connected to the outlet mall. It's close to the airport and has free airport shuttle service. Room size is big compared to most HK hotels in the city. It's close to Lantau island and Disneyland. MINUS: Furnitures are a bit dated and needs upgrading. TV channels very limited. OVERALL: still a very comfortable stay! Good place to stay if u only have a day or two in HK.

Excellent location and facilities. Comfy pillows. Free shuttle bus. Get there 10mins before it leaves.

Great place for shopping and visit big buddha. Beakfast is ok and thank you to Mr.Amar for the warm reception.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was after 9:30pm there are no choices of restaurants in the hotel or the nearby attached mall. Only 4 meal options available for room service after hours also. The hotel price, due to the proximity of the Airport and Disney; is also twice the price of Kowloon, central and other similar city areas.
