Tanya and Sean were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was excellent. A beautiful ambience close to Nottingham Road and N2. I stayed there one night on my way to Drakensberg. I wished I could have stayed longer.

Had a lovely stay. Tanya and her hubby were wonderful attentive hosts. Paid extra attention to detail with great breakfasts. Look forward to staying there again in the future and will definitely recommend to others

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Amazing beautiful place with magestic views and surroundings. The hosts were unbelievably professional and friendly. Rooms were well kept and just what we needed

Lovely peaceful setting along a lovely steam which holds lots of bird life. Personal attention with great service. Good access to midlands meander. A must for nature lovers that want to appreciate some tranquility away from city rushed life.

Hawklee Country House has captured our hearts! The tranquil setting, gracious hosts and completely relaxed setting is a must do weekend break when looking to recharge and reset. Tanya and Sean are excellent hosts! Attention to finest detail is just “WOW”

Amazing hosts, always there to assist. Not far from Durban. Dinners available on request, amazing homely meals. Lovely rooms with spa baths ans shower. Coffee, teas available in room. Bar fridge. Welcome sherry in the room. Truly a lovely place for breakaway.

We had the most wonderful three night stay at Hawklee. Idyllic location, so peaceful surrounded by nature and the sounds of running water from the Lions River was very special. Tanya was an incredible hostess. The food was generous and tasty - it had all the qualities of fancy food with the real warmth and heart of homemade cooking. We had lots of privacy in our chalet but also thoroughly enjoyed games and drinks in Sean and Tanya’s much loved Irish pub - Seananigans. It was such a great breakaway. I can’t wait to return

Highly recommend, a perfect getway. The food was fantastic, serving breakfast and dinner. The room was perfect with a spa bath. There is lots to do in the area. There is also a nice walk along the river.

What a wonderful few days, we were treated like special guests and Tanya made us beautiful and delicious meals!! Such a privilege not to worry about that😳 lovely warm and welcoming pub after long days and the rooms were very comfortable…
