Side Royal Palace

I’ve visited a lot of hotels in Side and the most I really enjoyed was here at Side Royal Palace. Everything was fantastic. Big shout out to the entertainment team!!! Amazing job! Thanks everyone, especially Ayka! She’s so friendly and helpful. Totally recommend this hotel and planning to go back very soon!

The Side Royal Palace Resort is an ideal place for everyone who is looking for unforgettable experiences, relaxation and delicious cuisine. Due to the proximity of many popular tourist attractions, many field trips can be started almost from the hotel parking lot using the rich offer of local tourist offices. Both the hotel and its rooms are sparkling clean. Additionally, the rooms are spacious, designed and arranged with original taste. The breakfast and dinner service is a real poetry of flavors. However, hotel service at every level deserves the highest rating for professionalism, kindness and full commitment. Second and last time. Stunning building kept immaculately clean housekeeping 2nd to none. Bar and restaurant staff generally OK providing the tips keep flowing. I complained twice about rancid butter the 1st time to Ali Asif a restaurant manager who put it under ice 10 days later I complained to another Restaurant Manager Ishmail B a very rude ignorant man who screwed them up and threw them away. Food very monotonous a red soup served every single day is either called pasta,tomato, semolina,chicken, ravioli or anadalcian. They have 10 ways to serve turkey. We paid for the all inclusive plus package which last time included bourbon, French brandy etc none or that available this time

My daughter & myself have stayed at this hotel twice . It’s a lovely hotel , good rooms very clean , food good ( I’m a fussy eater ) the staff on the whole were lovely , but some we were ignored by as we are not German, it’s gave us the feeling of being second class to the Germans. Even though we spoke English to them they still spoke to us in German. It seemed worse this year , as last year it wasn’t so bad . But saying all that I would go back there again ,(maybe try learning German lol )

Beautiful hotel with great food and location. We arrived and checked in at the Side Royal palace, our rooms were allocated in the royal style. The hotel has excellent facilities. We visited in the winter season but there was plenty to do. There were activities during the day such as darts, bowls and gym. We especially enjoyed the cooking club on Monday! Most bars were table service and we didn’t wait long for a drink. There was a wide range of options, including different beers (thanks to the Irish pub), cocktails, coffees and spirits. The coffee shop was really relaxed and had some wonderful cakes. It’s a short walk to the beach and I believe there is a shuttle but we didn’t use it. There is a snack bar here when weather permits. Even in February it was only closed once during our week’s stay. We dined in the turquoise a la carte and had an excellent meal it was great service and food. I cannot understand anybody who gives food here a bad review… on each visit to the buffet our food was hot which is not always the case on all inclusive. There was a wide range of choice and the daily grill offerings at both lunch and dinner were excellent. There’s always something such as chips/pide(turkishpizza) for a taste of home if you want it. Lastly the staff - although the whole area is geared towards German guests we did not find this a problem. Many staff spoke English, and even if it was just a little we were able to communicate. I would certainly return to this hotel. Many thanks to all of the staff. Service was second to none. Some people have mentioned you only get good service if you tip, but I would disagree. Sometimes we tipped, others we didn’t and we received a consistent service. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed for 6 days in February and chose it as it seemed good value for money at £1600 for family of four including flight, hotel and taxi transfers. The hotel is about 1 hour taxi ride from Antayla airport. The hotel is 200 metres from the beach which is sandy and it has private beach access with covered area, free sunbeds and inclusive beach bar. We paid for all inclusive and there is plenty to eat with several meals time per day including, breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, dinner, and midnight meals.. The drinks are readily available through waiter service or at the bar and we rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes to order. The drinks include branded spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks and local beer and wine. We stayed in a family room for two adults and two teenagers. The kids were in the living room area but they take out the sofa and have two single beds. The room is bigger then a travel lodge and has plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The minibar is also included for free and included water, soft drinks and beer. The hotel has two outside pools which were not in use during winter. There is an indoor pool which was heated and was clean too use. There is s wellness spa in the lower floor which included free to use Sauna, steam room and relaxation area. You can pay for a Turkish massage which was reasonable price at about €60 for service including exfoliation, steam, sauna, soap treatment and 1 hour massage. I can't comment on how good it was as we didn't use it. The evening entertainment is at the sister hotel, Side Royal Style which is accessed via a short 30 second walk over the outdoor seating area. The entertainment was a mixed bag, one night a dance group doing acrobatic routines, a singer on another night and a belly dancer on another night. The staff were generally all friendly and spoke English so asking for anything was no issue. The local bus stop is a 5 minute walk away and is cheap travel to Manavgat and Antayla. There are a few restaurants in the local area but the majority of shops are clothing and souvenir shops. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. There were other English guests but the majority seemed to be German and the average age of the guests was over 50 but there were some younger families there.

What a stunning hotel! Staff are incredibly friendly we actually still keep in touch. The food options are vast and presented beautifully. Walking distance to their private beach is less than 10min or you can get a frequent mini bus from hotel. Their restaurant at beach serves incredible food too. Markets are walking distance. Over all a simply perfect summer holiday

First time in Turkey had a really good time at the hotel the staff really polite and the entertainment staff was really good ,Ozi 1 of the entertainment staff was really good and friendly , the location is very good and local amenities very close , Turkey is a very beautiful place would recommend to anyone to check this destination out

I wanted to thank the guys and hotel staff. This was the best vacation for our company. We really enjoyed the evening program, dancing, live music. I think the animation team is doing this. I’m very glad that I met good guys, I haven’t forgotten you Dilek, Hasan, Cetin, Egemen. Thank you for a nice vacation. Also the bartenders were friendly
