The most joyful station in my trip all over Europe. Every spot is beautiful, the region, the landscape, the lovely people, the hotel and it’s classical nature made it more attractive. It’s like the films. The manager is lovely and so helpful, so are all other staff members. Although my check-in was delayed until 4:00 pm but That’s nothing. I would come again.

Rooms are old and dormitory style. No A/C. The rooms were hot in August and smelled musty. Difficult sleeping. The overall experience was spartan. The one bright spot was the free breakfast which was continental style and very good. For someone looking for a place to flop it would do. We wouldn’t stay there again too many better option for the price.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend. The room was clean and the staff was hospitable. The furnishings and property are dated, but we found that this added to the charm. We opened the windows in our room and allowed the air to fill the space. We were absolutely delighted at the views from our room.
We had several meals at the restaurant and the food was always good.

The price and the standard at the hotel fits. The prices is low at this is not a luxury hotel.

The hotel is very old. Surely there hasn't been any investment for years. But OK as a stop for a car/motorcycle tour. room clean. Price ratios are okay for Switzerland, but not more.

Search the WEB, found Alpenrose and booked directly. Very quick and friendly reply. surprised by the hotel and room, simple but cosy. The morning buffet a small sensation, large selection (especially for cheese lovers) the dinner comfortably on the terrace. Traffic decreases massively after 6 p.m. The staff very friendly and sometimes even condescending. Book and enjoy value for money accommodation deserves high recognition
