Hotel Kristall

It was a very comfortable apartment - nice sized rooms with 2 balconies and lovely views and very convenient access to the bus routes (always on time and every half hour). The snow was not good but access to langlauf routes would have been a short walk direct from the accommodation. As it was, instead, we use the bus to access the last remaining route in Seefeld for 2 days and enjoyed fabulous walks fpr the remaining days

In February I brought a group of 12 persons to the family run Hotel Kristall on a XC ski trip. I've stayed there several times previously. I always look forward to its comfortable rooms, modern conveniences, excellent service, and exceptional, innovative cuisine. All these attributes were in full effect during my most recent visit. The new rooftop infinity pool and sauna were a big hit with my group. The hotel is a short walk to many XC ski trails.

We last visited in 2019 and since then the hotel has undergone a major refurb. This has not changed the things we loved then one bit. The warmth of the welcome, the friendliness of all the staff and as for the food .. fantastic! Loved the infinity pool which is a new addition. The location is great for winter walking with plenty of trails accessible from the hotel. Not to mention all the others that can be reached by a simple free bus journey. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is wonderful. I really don't know where to start. The dining experience was beyond excellent. Fantastic food and marvellous service. Breakfast was a joy, the mid-afternoon light meal was marvellous and the evening meal, as I've said, out of this world. The choice of food and drink was outstanding. The hotel has been refurbished in recent years and it shows. The room was great and all public areas are delightful. I cannot fault the hotel at all. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely family run hotel with friendly staff and excellent food. The rooms are lovely and the spa area and rooftop pool are amazing. The hotel is in an ideal position to access the cross country ski and walking trails. This is our third visit and we can’t wait to return.

We spent a week hiking in the snow and staying at this family run hotel, being extremely well looked after by the owners, Daniel and Gerhard, and their team. The hotel offers a wonderful selection of food, with a varied buffet breakfast and fry ups made to order, afternoon tea snacks and cakes and 4-5 course dinners served at the table. Superb Austrian and international food.! The new wing of the hotel has modern stylish rooms and huge beds whilst the old wing offers charming traditional alpine style rooms. But the cherry on the cake is the heated infinity pool on the top floor, where we swam surrounded by peaks covered in snow! Followed by sauna, steam and relaxation in the two spas. We were so impressed with the 5* facilities and service offered that we decided to return in summer to hike in the stunning Leutasch valley.

Great food and the infinity pool made it a lovely place to relax after skiing. All the friendly staff couldn’t do more to enhance our holiday. Flew from the UK into Innsbruck and a short half hour transfer to the hotel makes it good for a short break.

A very nice, newly rennovated adults only hotel. We were in a suite room with separte bedroom. The bed was great and the room was spacious. Minor things missing: a room bar or refrigerator to cool drinks A coffee/ team maker. We had breakfast and dinner included. Both were excellent with great service. We used the Infinity pool three times! It has a fantastic view of the moutains. It was bit crowded in the afternoon but after breakfast we were alone! It was nice and warm (about 28 deg C). The location of the hotel is good. A short drive to good hiking trails The hotel only had one charging station for two cars and one of the chargers was not working. Parking in general was full!

The whole experience at Hotel Kristall was wonderful. The welcoming and helpful team of reception staff, the bar and catering staff, the accomplished chefs, the cleanliness and the location. It was truly superb!! We stayed for 6 nights (minus our teenage children) and had time to relax and be pampered after we cycled, hiked and enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful area in Austria. The recommendations from Mr Pfeffel for places to visit were excellent and the bike hire was great (free for mountain bikes, €40 per day for e-bikes). We went much further afield to see the amazing features of this area because of this option. We were able to relax on the Lichtspiel (top floor pool and sun lounge area) or the indoor wellbeing areas up until 19:00 I can only echo other comments made about the dining experience, the food was amazing! Such a variety of delicious fresh food for breakfast between 8-10:30; much more than a typical afternoon tea between 14-16:00 and a delightful 5-7 course evening meal served between 18-20:00. The recently renovated lounge area and the card games were a lovely way to relax after dinner. The attention to detail is spectacular. We had a more traditional bedroom which hasn’t had the modern make over yet but it was wonderfully comfortable, clean and had a great view from the balcony. Everywhere else is as it look on the photos, beautiful blond woods, comfortable stylish chairs and sofas. The pool on the roof is a piece of beautiful Austrian engineering. It sparkles in the sun.
