"The location is excellent; sitting in the room or on the platform, you can see Crown Peak of Gaoligong Mountain. Crown Peak was a landmark for the Flying Tigers on the Hump airlift during the Anti-Japanese War, and looking up at the mountain brings good luck. Breakfast was not included when I placed the order, but the owner prepared a complimentary breakfast upon check-in. The room facilities were a bit old, but the owner's warm service made up for it. I forgot a small item in the room when I checked out, and the owner called to ask for my address and sent it to my home by courier. I was extremely grateful!"

"A mountain-view hotel recommended by a friend in Kunming. I was instantly captivated by its description and drove over 2,000 kilometers from Guangzhou to Zhiziluo just to experience it firsthand. Following the Nujiang River, we drove up the mountain from its foot, passing through Laomudeng Village and the old town of Zhiziluo. Taking photos along the way, we arrived at the hotel before we knew it. Upon arrival, I was absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views. This is, without a doubt, the hotel with the best views and facilities I've ever stayed in. Every corner exuded a sense of luxury. Thank goodness we booked two nights; otherwise, I would have regretted it deeply. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, with ample space between each, ensuring privacy and a truly peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are incredibly spacious, featuring a separate walk-in closet, a dedicated mountain-view soaking tub, and a full bathroom. There's even a small additional room with bunk beds, perfect for children. The absolute highlight is the ability to enjoy the unparalleled mountain views directly from the bed, the balcony, or while relaxing in the bathtub. The scenery changes constantly from dawn to dusk, keeping my phone busy capturing every moment. The hotel's breakfast offers a well-balanced and nutritious spread; both the Ersi (rice noodles) and MiXian (rice vermicelli) were exceptionally tasty. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel, and the chef's culinary skills were outstanding. Their unique Lacquer Oil Chicken Hotpot is a must-try, allowing you to enjoy both hotpot and barbecue simultaneously. The portions are very generous, easily enough for four people. I've already recommended this hotel to all my friends and plan to bring my elderly parents here next time for them to enjoy a relaxing stay."

"The inn was a pleasant surprise, the room was exactly like the promotional pictures, and the view was great. The hardware mentioned before doesn’t have any major problems, which put my worries to rest - the price-performance ratio is still very high. The innkeeper was also very welcoming. He took us all the way to the room and told us that we could eat on the first floor and take photos on the top floor. We lived on the third floor, up the stairs to the Old Muden Church. Standing on the balcony, you can not only face the Crown Peak, but also see the Nujiang Gorge. In the morning, I sat on the bed wrapped in a cotton jacket, peeling oranges and waiting for the sunrise. I felt very happy and warm. The breakfast is simple. In addition to rice noodles, there are buckwheat cakes, pickles and eggs. The buckwheat pancakes were bland and tasteless. Dinner was not cheap but considering the location it was acceptable. As it was Chinese New Year, there were too many people, so the food was served slowly and in a chaotic manner, but it was understandable."

"We arrived at Yinfang Inn in Laomudeng Village, Pihe Nu Autonomous Township, Nujiang Prefecture at around 3:00 p.m. There were seven rooms on the second floor, and the owner and his wife lived on the first floor. The boss is a carpenter. When he was young, he worked in many places such as Zhuhai, Zhejiang and Beijing, so he is very good at chatting. Except for his clothes, he doesn't look like a country farmer at all. The boss and his wife are very polite. When guests come, they will treat them with raw sunflower seeds and cucumbers picked from the fields. The room I booked on Ctrip cost just over 100 yuan including breakfast for two. It was really unexpected that I could stay in such a clean and tidy room with a toilet in the countryside. This shop is built on a high place. The bamboo balcony on the first floor and the balcony of the room on the second floor can be used as a good viewing platform, with a panoramic view of the church and the pond."

"The room is exactly as pictured, so I won't show it much. I'll just show you the surrounding environment and scenery. The host is a local Nu ethnic minority member (Teacher Chen), and also an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. Their folk songs are beautiful, and there's a demonstration of unique Nu musical instruments. If you want to learn about Nu culture, this is a good choice. It's a sisterly business; the older sister manages accommodation, and the younger sister manages catering. On the afternoon of our visit, we chose a local free-range chicken for dinner, which was delicious! 😋 The breakfast provided was also excellent; the eggs seemed to be from their own chickens, not factory-farmed chickens. Now, let's talk about the location. Laomudeng is located at a relatively high altitude. It rained and fogged the day we went, with visibility around three meters. There are many hairpin bends, and we didn't see a single house halfway up the mountain, almost thinking we were on the wrong road. Personally, I think the mountain road in Laomudeng is even more dangerous than the Bayinbuluke track in the movie ”Pegasus.” Parking is mostly on the roadside, and the road is a bit narrow, making both driving and parking quite challenging."
