"Booked this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly diligent. They offered turn-down service, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety and was very plentiful. It's only one bus stop away from the airport and easy to find."

The self-service laundry room is a lifesaver for long trips, and the gym is great for squeezing in a workout during downtime. All the facilities are well-maintained. "The location here is pretty good; it's not facing the street so it's not noisy, which is really helpful for someone like me who doesn't sleep well. The room facilities are all complete, the entire room is controlled by Xiao Du (smart assistant), and even the toilet is smart. They also have Xiao Du deliver food and other things, which is super convenient. I often come here for business trips and frequently choose to stay at this place."

"Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff."

"The room was a bit old, but the facilities were good. The bedding was well-arranged, and I had a great night's sleep. The swimming pool was large and deep, and the water quality was excellent – a big plus! However, there's no underground parking, and the outdoor parking seemed unorganized with security staff being quite unhelpful. The front desk service was also pretty mediocre and unenthusiastic; they were quite dismissive when answering questions. Also, the location provided by Trip.com's navigation was severely inaccurate!!!"

"This is my second stay at Wyndham, and I absolutely have to praise the service in Quanzhou. First, the front desk service: the young ladies were so gentle and friendly, their welcome felt like a heartwarming spring letter. Even though they were busy, they answered all my questions about local routes without a hint of impatience and proactively communicated with me multiple times to address my suggestions regarding room soundproofing. Next, the restaurant: the dishes were plentiful, and the vermicelli paste was delicious, instantly elevating my impression of Minnan cuisine. Server Liu Jie (Sister Liu) was simply an angel; her friendly yet relaxed service was incredibly comfortable and thoughtful. She even personally delivered a dish I casually mentioned the next day right to my table. The hotel is also very accommodating towards children. Finally, a word about Mr. Zhang, our airport transfer driver: though the ride wasn't long, his driving was very steady, and he thoughtfully prepared snacks and water for my child. This made our brief trip to Quanzhou end with an ellipsis… of eagerly awaiting our next visit."

"Stayed here for a business trip, and the overall experience was excellent. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the room was clean and spacious, perfect for both work and relaxation. The internet speed was stable, which was great for getting work done. The location is convenient with good public transport links and plenty of dining options nearby. The staff were polite and attentive, and the price was reasonable. I'll definitely be booking this hotel for all my future business trips."

"Traveling with a child, front desk staff member Yechen provided exceptional service. She proactively upgraded our room and a robot even delivered toothbrushes and slippers to our little one, which made them very happy. Later, when my child accidentally broke a mouthwash cup, she promptly helped us resolve the issue. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and our child really enjoyed it, making for a very comfortable stay. The Sunshine Night Market is right downstairs, and Wudianshi is also very close by."

"The hotel has been around for a while, so it's a bit old but nothing major. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Zheng, provided great service and arranged a high-floor room for me. The breakfast on the first floor wasn't particularly outstanding; I hope they can improve it in the future. Also, it would be great if they could upgrade to screen-mirroring TVs for more convenience."
