"Paid just over a thousand for a lake-view room, and honestly, this is the worst hotel I've stayed in for this price point. My main issues are twofold: First, the breakfast selection was very limited, and the peanuts weren't even fresh – they actually served stale food! Second, there was a horrible mildew smell coming from the sink drain in the room, which was really off-putting. The only silver lining was that there's a duty-free shop right downstairs, which made shopping very convenient!"

"The first time I was lost by a taxi driver, because of Google navigation problems. Fortunately, I was in a bad mood by the uncle under the eucalyptus tree and the carving rescue, and the room was free to upgrade and melt. The next day, there was freshly cooked soy milk and bun breakfast, and the intimate service of Shuitou Pier was delivered free of charge. Give the uncle under the eucalyptus tree a score."

"The guesthouse offers airport or pier pick-up and drop-off services. It's basically a converted house, but the rooms are nice and well-equipped, and most importantly, they're very new. The owner is very helpful and grateful for reminding us about the typhoon the next day, urging us to go to the pier early to wait in line, as the ferry was only operating two trips due to the typhoon. We arrived early and got a spot on the waiting list, thus avoiding the risk of not being able to get to Xiamen. They also held our room until check-out time so we could continue staying if we couldn't make it to Xiamen."

"I specifically booked the Moon Hostel for my Kinmen trip, and my overall stay far exceeded expectations. I absolutely have to write a glowing review and recommend it! The whole environment is meticulously clean and tidy. You need to change into slippers when going upstairs, which the owner provides for free – such thoughtful attention to detail. The rooms have wooden bunk beds with high-quality mattresses. Each bed has its own outlet and bedside lamp, along with a blackout curtain, ensuring maximum privacy so you won't be disturbed at night. The mattress firmness was just right; after a long day, I slept incredibly soundly. The room floor was clean and dry, and the common areas were cleaned daily. There was none of the usual clutter or strange smells often found in hostels. The location is truly unbeatable for getting around and finding food. Next door are Cosmed and 7-Eleven, and just a short walk downstairs are all sorts of snack shops – everything you could need. There's a 24-hour convenience store at the intersection, making it super convenient for daily snacks, drinks, and toiletries. It's also very close to Jincheng Station, saving time and effort for transportation and visiting nearby attractions, which is especially friendly for solo travelers. The owner is incredibly welcoming and patient, answering any questions before and after check-in with great detail, making communication easy and comfortable. The hostel also offers free luggage storage and simple cooking facilities, which is very convenient for storing bags when you're out. The entire stay was quiet and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and at ease. If I come back to Kinmen, I will definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to any solo travelers! I really, really recommend everyone choose this place when visiting Kinmen!!!"

"Extremely satisfied! 1. Service: All the staff at the hotel provided very thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive service. Everyone had a sunny smile on their face and was able to respond to our needs immediately at any time. 2. Facilities: The hotel room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries in the bathroom were also of good quality. The TV had many channels, and the KTV added another layer of fun for us. 3. Breakfast: It was incredibly rich and very delicious; we still can't stop thinking about it. "Super strategic location with walking distance to most food places in Kinmen old town. There are limited parking lots next to the hotel (for car rentals), if you rent their cars which are more expensive, they have different lots for them. The hotel does not provide toothbrush so be prepared for that. Do check out the popular stir fry restaurant next to the hotel (and a temple), they have good range of seafood with reasonable prices"

"I stayed at this hotel for a three-night, four-day trip to Kinmen. The location is excellent; it's only a 5-10 minute scooter ride to the popular milk tea street where most tourists gather. Facilities: It has a fridge and microwave. I booked a 6-person room, and everything inside looked quite new. Each person has their own locker. There are free snacks and instant noodles available on the first floor. Hygiene: The place was very clean, making for a comfortable stay."

"Environment: Quiet but relatively remote Service: Relatively satisfactory Different from hotels in China, maybe they advocate simplicity and environmental protection, so the cups for brushing teeth and the cups in the breakfast room are disposable cups. At present, there are no hotels in China that use keys to open the door, but they still use keys to open the door, which is a bit uncomfortable. I forgot to lock the door before going out several times, and ran back to lock the door. The sound insulation is not good, and the guests outside can hear the conversation clearly. "The room is clean, with unparalleled sea views, the surrounding area is quiet at night, and there is a convenience store 10 minutes away. Although it is Jinning, it is very close to Jincheng Town, with convenient travel and considerate service."
