"The hotel's location is a bit far from Jincheng Town, but Jinhu itself feels relatively new and clean. Downstairs, there's a duty-free shop, though it closes quite early. There's also a supermarket for late-night essentials, a McDonald's, and even a small night market. It's quite close to the Old Street, which is nice for a stroll, and there's a large, pleasant lake outside. Across the street, you'll find convenience stores, making it easy to grab anything you need.
Dining options in the evening are a bit limited in the immediate vicinity. The hotel does have a restaurant, but the food is just okay.
As for the rooms, they are pretty standard, with slightly older facilities, but they are clean.
The breakfast was good, a bit pricey, but satisfying. There was a delicious coffee jelly, but unfortunately, it wasn't available the next day. If I get the chance to visit Kinmen again, I'd still consider staying at Jinhu."

"Super strategic location with walking distance to most food places in Kinmen old town. There are limited parking lots next to the hotel (for car rentals), if you rent their cars which are more expensive, they have different lots for them. The hotel does not provide toothbrush so be prepared for that.
Do check out the popular stir fry restaurant next to the hotel (and a temple), they have good range of seafood with reasonable prices"

"I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth.
The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic.
Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again."

1. Service: All the staff at the hotel provided very thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive service. Everyone had a sunny smile on their face and was able to respond to our needs immediately at any time.
2. Facilities: The hotel room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries in the bathroom were also of good quality. The TV had many channels, and the KTV added another layer of fun for us.
3. Breakfast: It was incredibly rich and very delicious; we still can't stop thinking about it.

Environment: I heard that it was a house left by a general, so it has the most unique roof in the neighborhood. I also heard that the house was over a hundred years old and was renovated this year. It’s really easy to take pictures inside. You can take good photos from every angle, and there is a small yard in the front and back.
Then there is a back mountain nearby, and in front is the well-preserved Zhushan settlement. It is very comfortable to walk around when you have time.
Cleanliness: The entire B&B was very clean and I felt very comfortable when I stayed there.
Facilities: The facilities are very complete, even the hair dryer is from Daisen (only small suggestion, I hope it comes with conditioner)
Service: The boss and the landlady are really nice people. We got in touch before we went there, chatted a lot, and gave us a lot of help and suggestions. They provided free pick-up and drop-off for arrival and departure. They also gave us a lot of recommendations and suggestions when we were in the local area. Help, and later we chatted and heard that they met and got to know each other when they were working as tour guides in Xiamen, and then they also owned a small shop in Jincheng Town. They are a very hard-working family.

GGuest UserIt was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️

The entire building is open-plan; anyone can come and go (but there are full security cameras). The kitchen lacks a microwave.
:) The entire building and the room are clean and tidy. The surrounding environment is sparsely populated and quiet. There's a bus stop nearby, a three-minute walk away. The bathroom has strong hot water. The kitchen has an induction cooker, cookware, tableware, a refrigerator, etc., making it convenient to cook. There are two open-air courtyards, one large and one small, which are great for relaxing and chatting.
Overall, it's good and suitable for group bookings.

The location is very convenient, about a 5-minute walk to Jincheng Station. There are also several good restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Compared to hotels near the station, I think this hotel offers a quiet environment while also providing enough convenience.
The homestay has 3 floors, but I live on the ground floor and have never been upstairs; looking at the skylight feels really nice!
In addition, if you rent an electric scooter, you may have to park it nearby instead of outside the house. If you have plans, you should communicate with the B&B in advance.

The fried dough sticks are super crispy and delicious – worth waking up early for! The room has a fridge, which is great for keeping drinks. The only downside is that the fridge compressor sometimes makes a noise, but I'm a heavy sleeper, so I didn't hear it at all while sleeping. All the facilities are perfect. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Some reviewers said the area isn’t super lively with restaurants right outside, but it’s peaceful and a good base for exploring by bike or scooter. 
Cleanliness & facilities:

Different from hotels in China, maybe they advocate simplicity and environmental protection, so the cups for brushing teeth and the cups in the breakfast room are disposable cups.
