TTaozigoBefore visiting Kinmen, I searched for numerous B&Bs on various apps and finally found this newly opened one that was both stylish and comfortable. I learned that the owners' family is involved in architectural soft furnishings and graphic design. No wonder it felt so cozy and comfortable. The decor is clean and stylish, retaining many traditional architectural elements while maintaining a modern feel.
Of course, the price is a bit high, but within an acceptable range, it's a very good stay.
The owners were very welcoming and attentive, patiently asking about breakfast times and helping me keep track of ferry schedules even though the typhoon had canceled sailings. I'm very grateful and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kinmen.

GGuest UserThe rooms in the homestay are spotless and the warm layout makes people relax instantly. The service of the proprietress exceeded expectations, not only providing thoughtful luggage pick-up, but also driving a few kilometers away to get the spare battery when the electric car was out of power late at night. What is even more moving is that after leaving the store, she found that the charger was left behind, and she contacted and handled it properly. Such a sincere and intimate service makes the accommodation experience particularly unforgettable. The next trip to Golden Gate will definitely choose this homestay again, and it is also recommended to travelers who pay attention to the quality of accommodation.

GGuest UserIt was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️

Environment: I heard that it was a house left by a general, so it has the most unique roof in the neighborhood. I also heard that the house was over a hundred years old and was renovated this year. It’s really easy to take pictures inside. You can take good photos from every angle, and there is a small yard in the front and back.
Then there is a back mountain nearby, and in front is the well-preserved Zhushan settlement. It is very comfortable to walk around when you have time.
Cleanliness: The entire B&B was very clean and I felt very comfortable when I stayed there.
Facilities: The facilities are very complete, even the hair dryer is from Daisen (only small suggestion, I hope it comes with conditioner)
Service: The boss and the landlady are really nice people. We got in touch before we went there, chatted a lot, and gave us a lot of help and suggestions. They provided free pick-up and drop-off for arrival and departure. They also gave us a lot of recommendations and suggestions when we were in the local area. Help, and later we chatted and heard that they met and got to know each other when they were working as tour guides in Xiamen, and then they also owned a small shop in Jincheng Town. They are a very hard-working family.

The boss's son is very warm and friendly.
The location is very convenient, about a 5-minute walk to Jincheng Station. There are also several good restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Compared to hotels near the station, I think this hotel offers a quiet environment while also providing enough convenience.
The homestay has 3 floors, but I live on the ground floor and have never been upstairs; looking at the skylight feels really nice!
In addition, if you rent an electric scooter, you may have to park it nearby instead of outside the house. If you have plans, you should communicate with the B&B in advance.

Location & vibe:
Tumbler Travel is located in Jinning Township, not right in the busy center but close enough to key spots like Kinmen National Park and the airport — it’s only a short ride away, which was super convenient. Some reviewers said the area isn’t super lively with restaurants right outside, but it’s peaceful and a good base for exploring by bike or scooter. 
Cleanliness & facilities:
Guests generally mention that the rooms are clean and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and basic amenities like air-conditioning, a fridge, and reliable water. It’s not a luxury place — think simple yet functional. 
One recommended feature is that it offers free airport transfer (with prior notice), which is handy if you’re flying into Kinmen. 
Service & atmosphere:
Reviews note that the host was welcoming and helpful, especially if you’re a solo traveler. Multiple guests talked about a smooth check-in and staff who were happy to share tips about the island or help with directions. 
It’s described as a nice youth hostel vibe, with shared spaces and a relaxed feel — good for meeting other travelers if you’re not in a hurry to disappear into your room.

KKenThoSuper strategic location with walking distance to most food places in Kinmen old town. There are limited parking lots next to the hotel (for car rentals), if you rent their cars which are more expensive, they have different lots for them. The hotel does not provide toothbrush so be prepared for that.
Do check out the popular stir fry restaurant next to the hotel (and a temple), they have good range of seafood with reasonable prices

SStar FinderIts location, price and helpful staff were the plus points. Suitable for old tourists travelling in groups, but let down by families with out of control children, and some middle aged men who like to argue aloud in the early hours (beyond the resistance of my ear plugs anyway)! The breakfast was bland, and monotonous, the room furnishings old and not always working, and running out of provisions (i.e. hotel slippers albeit they are too small for US / European sizes).
