This stay really exceeded my expectations, highly recommended! ! ! Just arrived at the store to check in, the boss is very enthusiastic, will pour tea, take the initiative to carry luggage, when entering the room, really warmed by small details, there are fresh fruits that have been washed on the table, and there is a handwritten welcome card, health really want to praise! The room was very clean, there was almost no dust, the bedding was very comfortable, and it was very safe to live in. The yard of the homestay is particularly beautiful, the scenery is very good, and it is especially pleasant to stay in the yard to bask in the sun. There are cute little animals in the yard (there is a dog called Tutu and a super cute cat called Yuyu) really makes people feel very healing! ! The warmest thing is the night! The boss will send the hot sweet soup to the room intimately, and the proprietress personally made it, drinking very assured, really warm! ! In the evening, there will be a bonfire in the yard. Guests from all over the place will sit and chat together, and there is a projection. The hot and lively is particularly warm, like a family. The boss is online, the whole homestay is warm and comfortable, I have been to many homestays, and I rarely encounter such a hard work. It is not the kind of commercial and polite hospitality, it is really to put the guests to heart, every small detail can feel sincerity, next time you come, you must not hesitate to choose this homestay, I recommend it to everyone! ! ! !

This hotel has a strong ******* style, and the owner was really great, taking good care of us visitors from inland China. They helped us with our luggage and arranged for us to stay on the third floor, which definitely made the altitude sickness worse when climbing the stairs! We visited in August, and the blankets were super thick, so I didn't get a good night's sleep either night. Also, I personally think this type of Tibetan-style hotel is nice for a two-day experience, but not suitable for a long-term stay!

This is a great guesthouse. The rooms are clean and simple, the owner is warm and chatty, the decor has a ******* style, the price is affordable, and the location is excellent. You're right by Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, with plenty of dining and shopping options. The only minor inconvenience is that cars can't pull up directly to the guesthouse entrance.

I really loved the hotel's courtyard; its architecture has a very exotic feel. Sitting in the courtyard in the afternoon, leisurely sipping a pot of sweet tea, was incredibly relaxing. It's a rare oasis of peace and quiet amidst the bustling streets, perfect for unwinding. The rooftop cafe offers views of the Potala Palace, and guests can go up for free to visit and take photos. The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance of Barkhor Street. It's just a few minutes' walk to Liukai Fruit Store after a taxi ride. It was very convenient to explore Barkhor Street on foot every day. The ******* noodles for breakfast were delicious, and there was plenty of fruit. Afternoon tea also included a complimentary pot of sweet tea. The room came with a nasal oxygen concentrator, which was a thoughtful touch. My only minor complaint, personally, was that the room felt a bit small and the soundproofing wasn't great. Because of this, I didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping, preferring to relax in the courtyard. This trip stayed at his house for three days. The boss and the couple were really good. I saw others saying that they were good in his comments. This time I really felt that I was over. The mats and pillows in the room were latex I like. It was really comfortable to live. Because there is no way to have a trip, so I can live for three days. If I have time, I want to live for a few days. I will definitely stay at his house next time. This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very efficient with check-in. It's very close to Potala Palace, making it super convenient for getting around. All the staff were warm and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the night view was fantastic. Guys, you can book this place with your eyes closed – I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

The location is easy to find, the sound insulation is very good, the first floor is talking and playing table tennis, the door is closed, there is a drying clothes on the top floor, the hall sells some food and necessities, there is a clinic next to 50m to inhale oxygen (25 pieces), there are many Tibetan restaurants around, sweet tea is very good; No slippers need to buy slippers like a hotel (1 piece), it is a squat toilet, the sanitary environment is OK; the bed is wider than other youth travel, lying very comfortable, the eight-person room is separated; cats are not afraid of people.

The location is great, right on Beijing West Road, making it convenient to the Tibet Museum. However, the facilities are generally dated. If you're looking for something special, avoid this place. It's clear it was a decent hotel 10 years ago.
