ChunQiu Oxygen-Rich Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The rooms are clean, tidy, and decorated with a stylish and charming touch. The sanitation is also well-maintained, and the staff are warm, attentive, and provide thoughtful service."
Ruixi Fuoxi Hotel (Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Lhasa) ★★★
"Honestly, I wasn't very satisfied, and this is why I checked out. The floor drain in the 410 room didn't drain, and the laundry room across the street was quite noisy. I switched to the 310 room, but the oxygen concentrator didn't work at all and was extremely noisy. The humidifier also didn't work. The mirror light in the sink wasn't working, and the hair dryer stopped working after I tried. The altitude sickness was so severe at around 3 a.m. that I checked out. The service wasn't a big deal, but the hardware needs improvement."
Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel ★★★★
"I've been to Lhasa four times. This time, after an amazing trip along the border, I came back to Lhasa for a rest and stumbled upon Atour Hotel on Trip.com. I never expected it to be such a pleasant surprise! The hotel is very new, the rooms are spacious, all the facilities are brand new, and the room hygiene is excellent. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The restaurant on the 6th-floor rooftop offers a close-up view of the Potala Palace – absolutely stunning for photos! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options. And whether it was the friendly guy at the front desk, the lovely lady in the breakfast restaurant, or the kind gentleman in the coffee shop, every single staff member was super nice! Next time I'm in Lhasa, I'll definitely choose Atour again."
Hampton by Hilton Lhasa Potala Palace Square ★★★★
"Absolutely top-notch! From pre-arrival to post-departure, everything was excellent. Before check-in, I received a call reminding me of my stay. Since I was staying for multiple nights, the hotel even upgraded my room. Housekeeping did a great job during my stay, and the breakfast spread was incredibly generous. They also offer 12 hours of complimentary dispersed oxygen from 8 PM to 8 AM."
Lhasa Potala Palace Square Jiangsu Road Atour Hotel ★★★★
"Extremely satisfied! The air quality was great, and I didn't experience any altitude sickness. The window view was beautiful, offering a clear sight of the Potala Palace. The service was thoughtful and professional, striking a perfect balance. Plus, the bottled tea in the hotel was absolutely delicious – sweet and refreshing, I had to grab two every day! The breakfast was also fantastic; who understands the sheer joy of having fresh vegetables in the morning? This stay truly exceeded my expectations!"
Lobbum Tsang Boutique Hotel ★★★
"The room had a strong ******* style, but personally, I'm not quite used to sitting on the floor. The guesthouse's location was a bit tucked away, but the host specifically came out to greet us and guide us in. Upon entering, the host presented us with a Hada, which made for a very ceremonial welcome. We arrived close to 8 PM, but thankfully, we made it to the hotel restaurant just before closing and even got a discount on dinner. Breakfast was simple, yet well-balanced and nutritious."
Atour Hotel Lhasa the Potala Palace Plaza Beijing Middle Road ★★★★
"Pros: Great location, not far from attractions, and plenty of dining options nearby. The in-room oxygen supply was very useful, and the room itself was spacious. Cons: The hotel is a renovated old building, so parking was a hassle. The window faced another building, which was under renovation, so there was no view whatsoever, and we had to keep the curtains closed at all times. Although the room was large, it felt quite empty and somewhat useless."
Tibethostel Scenic Hotel (Potala Palace) ★★★★
"I found this hotel on a ranking list. All the other hotels were over a thousand, so this one seemed reasonably priced. It was raining when we arrived, and the front desk staff came out to greet us. The security guard even helped us park across the street, which was very thoughtful service. Once we got into the room, I noticed we could only see a tiny bit of Potala Palace. I thought to myself, 'This is it? For 800? The owner must have paid for promotion.' My husband went downstairs because I was a bit hungry and asked the security guard where he could get me some instant noodles. The security guard went and got them himself. When we checked out, they helped us take our luggage to the parking lot across the street. The service truly gets full marks. The coffee at breakfast was amazing, it was freshly made, not from the usual self-service machine. Full marks for that too. Next time I'm in Ngari, I'll definitely stay here again."
Xinding Hotel ★★★★
"The most difficult thing for me about this hotel is that all the hotel staff are enthusiastic and provide high-quality and considerate services around the clock. The hotel's facilities are also complete, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Xinding Hotel, great!"

Lhasa Fanlian Hotel
"Traveling as a family of three, the room was very comfortable. The hotel pays attention to details; for example, the slippers and loungewear were unconventional yet incredibly comfortable. There's a laundry room on every floor, which is very convenient. The room's aroma diffusers and essential oils had a subtle, pleasant scent. We stayed for two nights and participated in meditation and incense-making classes, which were fantastic experiences. The complimentary cowboy hat and eco-friendly bag were also pleasant surprises. The staff were polite, discreet, and well-mannered. Overall, the feeling was excellent. Upon returning home, I received the ******* incense I made, and in its curling smoke, I felt a connection to Tibet once more."
The St. Regis Lhasa Resort
"The hotel has an incredible artistic flair, with stunning designs everywhere that truly live up to its high altitude setting. It beautifully blends ******* and Tang Dynasty styles with a modern, international feel. The rooms are very spacious, and the service is prompt and convenient. A special thanks to our butler, Tina, for the room upgrade! The toiletries provided for the bathtub are Bvlgari – absolutely perfect! 💯"
Lhasa Snow Paradise International Hotel (Potala Palace)
"This was my first time in Tibet, and staying at this hotel was a lifesaver for us first-timers at high altitude. It's clean, tidy, and offers 24-hour oxygen supply. The butler was also incredibly kind; he explained how to use the oxygen equipment, promptly helped us with any issues, and even packed us a breakfast. The hotel also provided a welcome gift and afternoon tea. The location is excellent, right near Barkhor Street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Jokhang Temple. You can even get a great view of the Potala Palace from the rooftop. Fantastic!"
Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa
"My stay in Lhasa was excellent this time. A special thanks to Xizhu from the front desk for her efficient and kind check-in process. She patiently explained precautions for high altitude and showed genuine care for altitude sickness. Her service was meticulous throughout. Thanks to Dawa Tsering and Tenzin Thongyul from the concierge team for proactively helping with luggage and enthusiastically guiding us with directions. Their service was professional and reliable. The warm service includes an in-house medical room. If guests feel unwell, they can pay for oxygen or an IV drip, which is quite convenient and helps alleviate travel fatigue and altitude sickness."
Metropolo Hotels(Potala Palace store, Lhasa)
"Overall, it's alright. The location isn't bad; buses go everywhere. The room is a bit old, there's no air conditioning in winter, and the heater isn't very useful. There's an oxygen concentrator, the kind you insert through your nose, but it didn't seem very helpful."
Chao Ye Rich Oxygen Observation Hotel (Lhasa Potala Palace)
"The hotel is very good, all aspects of service are meticulous and thoughtful, suitable for staying, the hotel is very new, the bedding is also good, the coffee coupon is sent, the Potala Palace can be seen from the roof observation deck, and the Tibetan costumes can be tried on for free to take pictures. Start staying for three days, and come back after playing the ring line and stay for three days. Luggage storage at the hotel, very convenient, in short, very satisfied!"
Taehf PhodragCulture Theme Hotel
"This hotel is really great! I would like to give special praise to the two ladies at the front desk, Zhuoma and Miji! They were very considerate and arranged for me to breathe oxygen. The hotel environment is very formal and safe, and there is a lot of oxygen in the room."
Lhasa Barkhor Street Dekang Fuoxi View B&B (Potala Palace Jokhang Temple)
"Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics. Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available. Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!"
Home2 Suites by Hilton Lhasa Museum
"The service was absolutely terrible. They had no customer service awareness whatsoever and were incredibly slow to get things done. And this is a Hilton brand…"
Qingpu Hotel
"goodgood"
Lhasa Yuanqi Inn (Jokhang Temple Branch)
"Stayed for the third time, I feel good 👍👍👍👍👍............Seeing that the stay will be accompanied by King Kong knot and Tibetan incense, we forgot to ask for it, a little regrettable..."
Lhasa Chijiang Larang Historic Hotel (Bakuo Street Jokhang Temple Branch)
"The Tibetan-style architecture and prime location are definitely the highlights here. The service was good, but there's no laundry room or breakfast available. The oxygen concentrator in the room was incredibly loud, making it not great value for money."
La Garry Snow Dragon Manor Resort(Potala Palace Branch)
"High-quality central diffused oxygen for 18 hours: The room is equipped with medical oxygen and a humidifier, which is very useful. The hotel has a car that can take you to attractions like Potala Palace, making transportation very convenient and comfortable. The service was also great."
Lhasa Potala Palace FONTOO Hotel
"Super close to the Potala Palace, just a few hundred meters walk – amazing location! The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The front desk service was excellent. Highly recommend! I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's also very, very close to Barkhor Street and other attractions."
The Potala Palace Jicai International Hotel (Barkhor Street Branch)
"The front desk service was excellent, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The hotel is very close to both the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. It was a great stay, highly recommended. Local snacks on the first night: Good Environment: Good Service: Good"
Atour Hotel Lhasa Xizang University Binhe Road
"Good good, highly recommend!"
