"I stayed at Hampton a few years ago when I visited Mengzi and had a great experience! This time, when I came to Mengzi with my good friend, I didn't hesitate to choose Hampton again. It's conveniently located near Nanhu Park and a shopping mall, making it super easy to find places to eat, drink, and have fun! The location is fantastic! During this stay, we had an issue with the power in our room, but the hotel staff promptly came to fix it. Since it was going to take a while, the hotel offered us a complimentary room upgrade, which was absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely choose Hampton again on my next trip to Mengzi!"

"This hotel has very new facilities, and the location is quite accurate. It's not far from Nanhu Park. The rooms are stylishly decorated and come with a Xiaodu speaker. The rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom, where the sink is located outside, separating the toilet and shower. The layout is acceptable, but there's a downspout behind the toilet, so larger people's knees will hit the glass door when sitting on it. The hotel owner was very friendly and helped with parking. The hotel has its own parking garage, which is a bit cramped. There are both an elevator and stairs. Overall, it's a good value. There are also many restaurants nearby."

"The Honghe Guanfang Hotel, Mengzi's first five-star hotel, is located at No. 8 South Lake Road, spanning 40,000 square meters, with 20,000 square meters dedicated to lush gardens. I stayed in a Luxury Garden Twin Room (like a Superior Garden View Standard Room), and opening the window revealed a meticulously manicured French garden and towering ancient trees. I woke up to birdsong in the morning and was bathed in the soft glow of the lakeside sunset in the evening. The room itself is a spacious 51 square meters, featuring twin beds, a bathtub, a minibar, and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that seamlessly bring nature indoors. Culinary Delights: Breakfast offers a mix of Yunnan snacks and Western dishes. The broth for the Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles is rich and flavorful, paired with fresh local mushrooms – truly a top-tier culinary experience in Mengzi. The restaurant directly overlooks South Lake, providing stunning lake views while you dine. Location & Attractions: The hotel is a mere 5-minute walk from the Former Site of the National Southwestern Associated University Mengzi Branch Memorial Hall and the Former French Consulate. In the evening, you can stroll along South Lake Park to Pioneer Bookstore, experiencing the intellectual resilience of scholars during wartime. The Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles were absolutely superb! 👍👍👍"

"The environment was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The luxury 'Guoqiao Mixian' (Crossing the Bridge Noodles) was delicious, with a rich variety of dishes, making for a great dining experience. All the staff, from the front desk and restaurant personnel to the cleaning aunties, were warm, polite, and incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Hotel parking was very convenient, with both outdoor and underground options, making travel hassle-free. All drinks and snacks in the room were complimentary. Overall, the value for money was exceptional, and it's definitely a place worth staying."

"Facilities: This 5-star hotel boasts a full range of amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, and hot spring baths. The rooms are very spacious and come with a bathtub. Breakfast: The variety of breakfast items isn't extensive, but it's decent. Cleanliness: The linens and bedding were clean and hygienic. Environment: Located by a main road, our window faced the street, so there was some noise at night. Service: The staff were warm and polite. The front desk lady even helped us get a room upgrade, which was great! 👍"

"The receptionist was very welcoming; she was a very nice young woman. From the moment we checked in, she gave us all sorts of suggestions (about things to do and eat), which was a great help for our family trip. The only downside was that the outlets by the bed couldn't be used for charging."

"We chose this art-filled guesthouse and it was absolutely fantastic! The rooms are designed in the style of an old house, but the amenities are modern and excellent. Every little detail makes you feel so cozy and welcome. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and recommended some great restaurants with delicious food, which really enriched our trip. The location is also perfect, right inside the Bisezhai scenic area, making it very convenient to explore the area and take photos of the滇越 railway. All in all, this was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience!"

"First of all, the service was very good, and the hotel facilities were also quite nice, but the overall experience was still unsatisfactory. 1. Extremely poor soundproofing: I was woken up multiple times in the middle of the night by noise, making it impossible to sleep. 2. Aromatherapy to the point of causing dizziness: The aromatherapy scent in the lobby was ridiculously strong and lingered even after walking a long distance; it was extremely pungent. 3. Seriously substandard hygiene: Even after calling staff to clean the bath towels at night, insects appeared on the face towels the next day—twice within a few hours, raising serious hygiene concerns. 4. Strong smell of smoke: The room smelled strongly of smoke, making it stuffy and uncomfortable; there was absolutely no ventilation."
