Shiping Hotels with Wifi

The room was fantastic, and the owner's service attitude was a huge plus. My family and I absolutely loved it. If we ever go back to Shiping, we'll definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend everyone come and experience it!

This guesthouse is excellent. It consists of two buildings, both conveniently located next to Shiping Wenyuan (Shiping Cultural Park), with easy and free parking. The guesthouse is small and comfortable with relatively new facilities. The 23rd-floor room offers direct views of the scenic area. The hotel has excellent soundproofing; it's quiet outside even with the windows open. There's an antique market downstairs every few days, but even during market days, it's still very quiet with the windows open—not even car horns. This is probably because Shiping itself is a relatively quiet ancient city. We originally planned to stay only one day, but decided to extend our stay after just two hours. We ended up staying for two more days. Chatting with the owner, we learned it was their first time running a guesthouse, and their dedication was evident from the moment we checked in. This was one of our best guesthouse experiences during our four-month trip, and we especially loved it. The owner was very kind and attentive. The guesthouse is fully equipped, with a kitchen with all the necessary condiments, a washer and dryer, and towels (not disposable). It was fantastic! We highly recommend it.

I'm totally captivated by the design of this guesthouse! The Instagram-worthy corner in the common area is amazing! The room has a fantastic view, and the bedding is pure cotton—I didn't want to get up once I lay down. The receptionist was incredibly attentive, not only introducing us to local delicacies but also helping us with our luggage. The location is near Yilong Lake, and the cleanliness was excellent. Overall, a perfect experience! The breakfast was especially delicious, and they even had seasonal fruit available for guests at the front desk! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

We stayed for a few days and gave positive reviews, but I have to complain about the hotel. Some of the so-called leaders lacked problem-solving skills, even worse than ordinary staff. We complained to the hotel that after breakfast, when we returned to our room, we suddenly saw someone coming out of our room. When we asked him why he hadn't greeted us before entering, he said he was checking for a leak. This was a bit baffling. I asked who he was, and he said he was a security guard. When we asked if there was a room mix-up—was it Building A or Building B?—he said he didn't know. We seriously suspected it was a thief, as he wasn't wearing a uniform or a name tag. When we complained to the hotel, the woman there said it was a minor matter and went on to boast about how good the hotel was. I said, ”Couldn't they at least call ahead before entering the room? If everyone can freely enter and leave a guest's room, what kind of security is that?” They never seemed to have any ill intentions towards us. We were originally planning to stay, but we checked out immediately.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the dedicated parking lot can park 10 cars. The room is well lit, spacious, comfortable and clean. You can see the scenery of Shiping County outside the window. I especially like to sit in this bay window to bask in the sun and see the flowing clouds. The room sound control is not very sensitive. There are many dining options around and the night is very quiet. In addition, it is a pet-friendly hotel. Very good stay experience.

This is the best-equipped hotel in the area. The rooms are newly renovated, with smart home control, a large TV, a separate shower and toilet, and comfortable beds. The rooftop terrace offers a sunset view, and although it's not in the first row, the view is still quite good. It's also very close to the lake, and there are small restaurants nearby. The guesthouse rents bicycles, but even with a discount, it still felt expensive; two people riding two bikes for three hours cost 30 yuan. Renting a bicycle for a whole day by Erhai Lake only costs 10 yuan. There's also a washing machine on the rooftop, which is quite convenient.

The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the Confucian Temple. Just a few steps away is Dafang Coffee and Mary's BBQ Restaurant, which is very convenient. The facilities are also quite new. I stayed there for four nights, but I still haven’t figured out the smart control of the room~~~

This hotel should be the most distinctive homestay in Shiping Ancient City. The old house was changed and very warm. The first floor is more comfortable and convenient. The stairs on the second floor are a bit steep. It is not convenient for the elderly to live in and take their luggage. Hotel location is very good, just next to Yuping Academy and the Temple of Confucianism, not far from Shiping Railway Station, not far from the Mali snack bar recommended by ”Three Meals and Four Seasons”. The courtyard is large, and there is a large conference room full of old-fashioned tape recorders and tapes. It seems that the boss is also a poet and a distant person. The front desk lady is very good, all the service staff are smiling, very home away from home, can have such a rest point during the trip, it is a small luck! Like 👍

The hotel is close to the ancient city. There is a parking in your own yard, which is very safe and convenient. The corridor of the room is also very wide. The proprietress is very nice. The room is relatively large. The disadvantage is that the smell of smoke is a bit heavy. It takes more wind to get through. The price is very affordable.

The room was fairly clean and there was parking. It was just too cold! There was no air conditioning or electric blankets, and the blankets and quilts were very thin; those who are sensitive to the cold might find it unbearable.
