There's a washing machine and a drying area, and a terrace on the seventh floor—perfect for enjoying the evening breeze or watching the sunrise. Environment: The first floor is beautifully decorated; you won't want to leave once you sit there—it's very cool. The courtyard is also charming, with sunken sofas and a place to play chess or drink tea. A small haven, a unique lifestyle. The rooms are spacious, with sofas, a large projector screen, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views. You can even watch the sunrise from your bed in the morning. Service: Breakfast is simple but filling. The rice noodles are delicious. The door lock is controlled by your phone—very advanced."

"This is the hardest guesthouse I've ever stayed in to rate. The location is excellent, right next to the Confucius Temple, a 15-minute walk from the main attractions of the ancient city, convenient for dining, and the facilities are above average. The owner was also quite welcoming. However, what I found most incomprehensible was the extreme noise before midnight, primarily from the owner. I stayed three nights, being lazy and not wanting to move my things, always thinking things would be better the next day. Finally, seeing no hope, I left in a huff. On the first night, the owner's wife chatted with several tourists, sometimes speaking to each other in their local dialect, sometimes to the owner's wife in Mandarin. They chatted until 11 pm, then the owner's wife left, and the tourists started taking showers, making a racket until after midnight. The next day, this group of tourists left, and thinking there was no one to chat with, I extended my stay for another day. That evening, the owner and his wife started talking [perhaps they were discussing something, as I couldn't understand them], until 11 pm... The owner started repairing the water system on the third-floor terrace, causing water to flow directly from the third floor to the first floor. I thought something was wrong, so I went out to check and the owner said the system was broken. Oh well, I'll just have to bear it. It dragged on until after midnight. During this time, after the water stopped flowing, the two people talking became deafening. I couldn't help but go out and say something, and it finally stopped after about 20 minutes. The next morning, I didn't see the owner. When I returned in the morning, the owner proactively said it was fixed and apologized. Thinking I could finally relax, I extended my stay for another night. Around 6 pm, I came back from my outing and found the owner's family and about 20 relatives and friends having dinner at the guesthouse. They drank too much and started shouting and singing—I recognized the singing as Peking Opera! I... This continued until midnight. I inquired and found that the owner and his wife are both officially employed in the area; running the guesthouse is a side business. But if you want to run a business, you need to have a service-oriented mindset. It's not your domain to be in charge. Running a guesthouse isn't as simple as me staying in your room and you collecting money. This is the first time I've written such a long review on Ctrip. I hope I can improve it, otherwise it would be a waste of such a great location and facilities."

"The hotel has two buildings. Since we were traveling with elderly people, we booked a room in the back row, which was quiet. The staff were exceptionally helpful, patiently explaining things to us about visiting the old town and dining options. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, so two people could use it without disturbing each other. The breakfast rice noodles and rice cakes were quite good (you need to be able to accept the Yunnan-style minced meat sauce). The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including an elevator, laundry room, tea room, gym, and parking."

"The experience of taking the family to the train theme room is super surprise! The atmosphere of the room remodeled by the whole car is full, and the private courtyard is quiet and private. The whole house is clean and odorless, the facilities are complete and brand new, and the sound insulation effect is very good. The staff is warm and caring, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. Children especially like the retro train set, take pictures, the environment is quiet and healing, travel accommodation is the first choice, all aspects are far beyond expectations, it is highly recommended for family travel!"

It is said that it was originally a rich businessman's house in the Republic of China. The century-old courtyard is antique, the courtyard is winding, the flowers and fruits are fragrant, and the small cockroaches in the courtyard are very comfortable. Very quiet at night and comfortable. The booked room is spacious and bright, the bed is comfortable, although it is an old house renovation, but the private bathroom, clean and odorless. Here's a plea for pet owners to be considerate and not let down the support and goodwill from society. I believe that dogs shouldn't be allowed on beds or tables, or in other people's rooms; these are basic human decency."

"Choosing this guesthouse during my trip to Shiping was a perfect decision! The traditional Chinese courtyard has a wonderful atmosphere, with lush flowers and plants everywhere, making it a great spot for photos. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from the ancient city's Confucian temple and pedestrian street, and you can easily find authentic Shiping roasted tofu and crispy tofu right outside the door. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, the mattress was soft, and the nights were very quiet – I slept soundly until morning. The owner was warm and hospitable, readily sharing local travel routes. A perfect place to stay during my leisurely trip to Shiping, it combines local charm with elegance; I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"It was a terrible accommodation experience. I arrived at the hotel after 8 PM, and my room was on the fourth floor. Not only was there no elevator, but it was also completely dark, without any lights. The two pictures below show the first room they opened for me. It was filthy, not only hadn't it been cleaned, but it was also incredibly dirty. The front desk said they had given me the wrong card. Fine, I went back to the front desk to get a new card. The second picture shows the room: the bed was a mess, and towels were scattered everywhere, clearly indicating it hadn't been cleaned after someone else's stay. This happened twice in a row. I don't know how they managed to do this, but honestly, the experience was extremely bad. After changing rooms, I was speechless. The toilet had no water, and I couldn't even flush! 😰"
