"This is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!"

"It was a perfect trip. Before departure, the butler contacted me on WeChat and sent me all the necessary information, including tips, information about nearby attractions, and restaurant reservations. Upon arrival, all the staff were very welcoming. My suitcase was heavy, and the waiter carried it all the way to the bubble room. He was incredibly kind and thankful for his hard work. The bubble room was absolutely perfect and so chill. Sitting in the rocking chair by the door with a cup of tea was bliss. The breakfast was also excellent, with hot dishes freshly cooked in a small pot. It was clean, hygienic, and delicious. The hotel is full of animals, and there are tables and chairs by the river next to the restaurant, so you can sit for a while. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I'd definitely stay again."

The tent room's facilities exceeded my expectations, with a smart toilet, private bathroom, and comfortable bedding. Bottled water and a kettle were also provided. It was a bit chilly in the mountains at night on May 1st, but the air conditioning provided heat and an electric blanket, so I slept soundly. I experienced the wildness, the facilities were convenient, and the service was just the right amount of friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. I felt the owner's attentiveness and dedication in every aspect, from the supplies to the quality of the food and the design. It was absolutely amazing. It's a great place to escape from the world. There are deer, black pigs, and poultry nearby. You can climb a small hill to the observation deck to enjoy the breeze, bask in the sun on a lounge chair, watch ducks swimming in the water, and see bubbles bursting in the sun. There's also a big, spoiled dog. The cafe is perfect for playing chess and reading. It's a perfect place to lie down and daydream. Falling asleep under the starry sky with the sound of gurgling water is quiet and comfortable. A light rain in the morning brings another scene. The breakfast is simple but delicious, especially the pickled vegetables I pickled myself. I like it here and will come again."

The farmhouse was lovely, a 5-minute walk from Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area. The courtyard was clean, spacious, and bright. A small slope opposite the courtyard led uphill, where orchards and cornfields lined both sides, creating a tranquil environment. I enjoyed a morning stroll with my dog ​​along the paths through the fields. The courtyard had no walls, but was surrounded by its own homegrown vegetables: scallions, chili peppers, lettuce, bok choy, and other greens. The owner's cooking was superb, far exceeding our expectations for farmhouse meals. All the ingredients were homegrown, purely organic, resulting in a unique and flavorful taste. The stir-fried pork with chili peppers was fragrant, the tofu and vermicelli casserole was delicious, the stewed chicken was tender, and the pork belly stew with green beans was flavorful. Every dish was delicious, satisfying, and generously portioned. We even made a special trip back to have lunch there on our second trip to Xinglong Mountain. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the place was quiet at night. Overall, it's a friendly, down-to-earth, and affordable farmhouse, highly recommended, and deserves a five-star rating.
