"Home is normal. Jixian is not big, this level is already very good. There is a buffet breakfast, not many varieties, but clean, the restaurant provides breakfast. There is a coffee machine at the front desk, which can be used for free throughout the day. The side of the room facing the street is a bit noisy. Although the windows are soundproofed, there is still noise. There is a roadside parking space in front of the parking door, and you can park if you have a location. Free parking is also available in the backyard of the hotel, but it is not the hotel's own independent. The hotel is very close to the South Ring Road, and the South Ring can take the bus to Nuanquan. It is very convenient to walk to the south gate of the ancient city for about 900 meters, more than ten minutes."

"Very authentic Chinese four sided courtyard guesthouse. We loved the atmosphere that represented the old historic courtyard, the location in the old town and the friendly staff. The place was renovated in an authentic way that feels original and several elements look very old. Definitely would return if we are back in the area. It most likely would be difficult to get here without a car. Once in the old town the guesthouse is super easily reachable."

"Extremely satisfied! The small, secluded courtyard was quiet and elegant – exactly my type! 👍 When I first arrived, I couldn't find my way, so I called the front desk. A handsome young man came and guided me there on his electric scooter – so touching! 👍 The room was clean and hygienic, with disposable toilet seat covers and laundry detergent. It was very quiet at night. I had booked a show for the evening, and the young lady at the front desk rode her scooter to take me there. After the show, she even picked me up and took me back to the hotel. I'm so grateful! 😊 They even gave me a gift bag when I checked out. 🎁 Thank you! 🥰"

"I didn’t expect that there is such a good homestay in Jixian. Although the room is not big, it is very clean and tidy. The front desk lady has a great service attitude. She asked if there is a toothpick. The merchant does not have it. But it’s raining and I bought a package and sent it. It’s really too hard and the room arrangement is super reasonable. We have a total of six rooms in this row. I have three rooms here. I have arranged our family. I live on the other side of the corridor. Although I live on the same floor, I don’t take a break with us. This hotel can be said to be my most satisfied in the past half a year. We traveled for the past half a year. Thousands of dollars are not as good as this. I get up at night and drink water. I see the big toys in the window. I wait for us to continue tomorrow's itinerary. It's safe and warm. Oh, I haven't written so many reviews for a long time. I don't like to live in the same place where I travel. But Shanhai Hotel is my willingness to stay in Jixian next time. I am so picky that people who have a lot of things can't pick out the problem. I am really satisfied."

"The room I booked was pretty much identical to the pictures, and I was really happy with how clean it was; every corner was spotless. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to a museum and with plenty of amenities nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive, always patiently helping with any issues. All the in-room facilities worked perfectly, and the water pressure was good. It was quiet at night, so I wasn't disturbed. Overall, it's great value for money, and I had a wonderful stay. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would definitely prioritize staying here again for future trips."

Last week I was originally planning to go to Chengde, but a friend suggested visiting Nuanquan Ancient Town in Weixian County. Although it was a bit hot during the day, the temperature dropped to around 20 degrees Celsius after sunset, and a gentle breeze made it very pleasant. Evenings were comfortable without air conditioning – a true summer retreat! What I liked most was the Gubao Boyuan Guesthouse: the courtyard retains the original traditional courtyard layout, with blue bricks and red tiles, simple and elegant; the pavilions are beautiful, exuding a timeless charm; the rooms have both modern technology and a strong sense of home, showcasing individual taste – I loved it! 👍👍 It's also worth mentioning the owners, a very warm and thoughtful couple. They picked us up and dropped us off, even buying us discounted performance tickets and letting us sample Weixian's famous fried yellow cake for free…so heartwarming! 🥰🥰 Hehe…a very pleasant trip! I'll definitely stay at this guesthouse again next time I bring my family! Here, I experienced: technology and life going hand in hand, tradition and modernity in harmony. 🌹🌹

This is the second time I have come to Jixian before. I have not lived once. The location of this hotel is closer to the Yuhuang Pavilion. It is more than ten kilometers away from the ancient town of Nuanquan. There is no decent parking lot to drive. I can park on the side of the road. There is no police sticker around the road. The hotel seems to be renovating a street surrounded by cars and auto parts. The external environment is not good and the road is dirty. There are more big cars on the street outside at night and the sound of motorcycles blowing the street! I didn't eat breakfast in this hotel. I don't know how breakfast is. There are breakfast and dining around. It takes a few minutes to walk. The intelligent facilities of the room are quite satisfactory and the health is better! Hot water bath 🚿 Very good 👌🏻 The front desk service is warm, the room aunt is average, because I stayed for one night and this is it...

Very good stay experience, I didn't expect such a good hotel in the county. The location of the hotel is excellent and the transportation is convenient. Open the curtains is the sun of the pine forest and Xiaotianshan, breathing the refreshing and clean air, walking through the paths in the forest, the pine needles falling on the ground are as soft as carpets. The last row we stayed in, walking 50 meters to the mountainside, the clouds, fog, windmills, grass mats, mountains, moonlight at night, stars, meteors, let me get the comfort of fleeing the city, in the morning a pot of tea, bathing in the morning light, what a pleasant feeling! The boss is like other friends who have lived here before. The people are really very good, hospitable, and the words have the boldness of the northerners. Like the big brother, providing you with the help you need will give you a feeling of going home. As for the food, although it is simpler, it tastes very good. The fried vegetables for breakfast made me eat two big steamed buns. The lamb and beef in the hot pot were also very good. I was looking forward to sleeping in this weekend, but someone just opened my door with a keycard early in the morning and walked in while I was still asleep. My heart was pounding, going from completely bewildered to wide awake. The room itself was fine, and the projector was good, but the overall experience was terrible.

The location is excellent; a short walk to the food street and it's not far from any attractions. Restaurants are right outside the guesthouse, and parking is conveniently located in front of the hotel.
