"My stay at the Radisson RED London Gatwick Airport was genuinely an excellent experience and a perfect way to begin my journey. As someone who values comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and professional service when staying near an airport, I found this hotel to be an outstanding choice for anyone travelling through Gatwick, especially for an overnight stay before an early flight or after a long journey. From the moment I arrived, the hotel made a very positive impression. The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and welcoming, with a fresh concept that stands out from many traditional airport hotels. The décor throughout the hotel feels vibrant and contemporary, creating an enjoyable environment that feels both relaxing and professional. It immediately gives guests a sense of comfort after the stress and fatigue of travelling. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided at reception, especially by Patrick. He was a genuinely kind, professional, and extremely helpful member of staff who made a noticeable difference to my experience. Patrick was supportive, approachable, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. His friendly attitude and professionalism created a welcoming atmosphere from the start and made me feel valued as a guest. In today’s hospitality industry, it is not always easy to find staff members who go above and beyond, but Patrick certainly did. His positive attitude and willingness to help deserve special recognition, and I truly appreciated the effort he made to ensure everything went smoothly during my stay. The check-in process itself was smooth and efficient, and the reception team overall were friendly and professional. Good customer service can transform a hotel experience, and this hotel clearly understands the importance of making guests feel comfortable and welcomed. The room was modern, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay for me. After a long travel day, having a peaceful and comfortable room made a significant difference. The blackout curtains helped ensure a good night’s sleep, which is especially valuable before an early morning flight. The room also included practical amenities such as tea and coffee facilities, a smart television, excellent lighting, and a comfortable setup that felt modern without losing functionality. The bathroom was spotless and featured a spacious shower along with quality toiletries, making the stay even more enjoyable."

"Made a last minute booking to stay the night after touching down in Gatwick at night with a migraineq, not knowing how isolated the place was. Its was dark and eerily quiet to get to, room was without heating and the hot water kettle was rusty and peeling. Still for the price, a very decent place to near the airport that offers a phone to directly call for United cars shuttl"

"Affordable and punches well above its weight when it comes to amenities. The location is incredibly convenient—there’s a bus stop just a minute’s walk away with direct service to Gatwick, plus a hotel shuttle option if you prefer. The room itself was spotless, with effective air conditioning, clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The lobby has a stylish, hipster travel vibe that adds a cool touch to the overall experience. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m flying out of Gatwick"

"We had a lovely overnight stay at the Sandman. It was wonderfully clean and quiet. The desk service was very good and they were helpful, noting we would be checking out before breakfast service and offering us a picnic breakfast to take with us. The only downside of this hotel was its isolation which meant you needed to use the restaurant on site. The servers were polite and attentive but the kitchen was incredibly slow, which was very disappointing. We also tried the pool and gym which were clean and basic."

"Front office staff all great. Nice gym. Rooms refurbished, neat and clean though a bit small. Only complaint is the housekeeping. A little spotty. One of the day no housekeeping despite hanging the housekeeping required card outside the door the whole day. And then 2 of the days they just removed the rubber mat for the bath tub. I asked reception to for it to be replaced and they gave me fabric floor mats instead of rubber mats. So in all, will recommend for the location if you wanna stay around the airport but not at the airport. There is a small town Crawley for food, malls and supermarket within walking distance."

"Stayed on the top floor in a single room. Overall it was a great stay, but a few minor improvements would make the experience so much better. One of the balcony doors had trapped condensation in between the double glazing, would be good if that was sorted out. The blind on the same door was damaged. There was a slightly weird smell in the room. A diffuser would probably sort that out. The remote controls for the tv’s were missing and the inside of microwave wasn’t cleaned properly. There was also no key for the balcony door so couldn’t lock it. I wasn’t really worried about it because the balcony isn’t accessible without someone spidermaning it up the outside walls. However, the hotel is a lovely building in a pretty countryside area. The young woman on reception was lovely - give her a pay rise! Would probably stay again."

"The hotel was too far from the Airport, the room was moderate but there was no facility for a disable person to use the bathroom. The bathroom has no heating which made it very hot. They do not allow customer to take food into the room as they don’t offer room services. The staffs were very respectful."
